My husband and I visited the winery while we were camping and mountain bike riding in the area. We really enjoyed the winery. The staff was friendly and we liked the wine. We bought a couple of bottles. When we got home I was really looking forward to enjoying one of the wines we bought, but it turned out that they gave us the wrong wine. They gave us a sweet white wine. I know many people enjoy the sweet wines but we think theyre disgusting. The wine we bought was a barrel oaked chardonnay, not sweet at all. I was so disappointed. We contacted the winery. They graciously apologized and said theyd ship us a bottle of the wine we had purchased. Did they.... No... Its been a couple of months. We go back to the area, have family there and know people who enjoy visiting. While we liked the wine we wouldnt recommend it to anyone. They are not honest. They didnt have to say they would replace the wine but they did and they it seems that they had no intention to. I would never have paid that much money for garbage they gave us.

While the wine may have been enjoyable the experience was not. We started our tasting then were ignored for over 20 minutes or more while other people were serviced who eneed after us. 2 people were working doing tasting but ours got tied up ringing someone out and then only tended to another group in between while the 2nd guy only tended to 2 people who came in after us. Very frustrating like we didnt exist until 1st person felt like coming back to us. Very poor service since I had indicated we were doing tasting plus buying bottles and a glass each to enjoy with lunch. It was soooo rude! I could have been understanding if I had been told it would be a few minutes until we continued our tasting, but to totally ignore and wait on others is unacceptable. Will never go back or recommend. In all the years I have gone wine tasting (more than 30) I have never been so poorly treated.

We had a wonderful experience at Saint Pauls. The service was over the top courteous and generous. One of the grape farmers even came to our table and spent a few minutes explaining their products. He was very enthusiastic and interesting to listen too. He then offered us a taste of his favorite wine on the house. There was a young man doing tastings who resembles Andy Samberg/Daniel Tosh (sorry I forget his name) he was a fantastic host during our visit. I wish google would allow more than 5 stars for businesses like this. Great job Saint Pauls! Thank you, We will be back.

Danielle it sounds like you had a great time and were just a victim of poor circumstance with the wine mix up. I am sure that it was simple case of miscommunication w/ your replacement bottle. Maybe try contacting them again, the staff and ownership are great bunch people. Honor and integrity are traits all the staff there share. Dishonesty is not a description that accurately describes the service or experience you will receive at St. Paul. Wines and Ciders are all worth the trip.

love this place. the wines are amazing! great quality and variety. People and atmosphere are always great. The servers are super nice and knowledgeable. The food truck is the best Ive had! Get the shrimp Tacos! Sadly its only open on the weekends. The wine club is great and you get lots of bonuses. I go here at least once a month (i live an hour away) and always bring a group with me who equally love it as much as I do!

St. Paul Mountain Vineyards not only produces award-winning wines which are reasonably priced, but the venue is attractively quaint, relaxing, and not pretentious. The staff not only is cordial and very knowledgeable to help with your selections. I highly recommend that folks visit the vineyard and enjoy the great atmosphere and exceptional wines. What a little gem near Hendersonville. I was very impressed with the wide assortment of wines and to be honest with you, I was overwhelmed with the quality. Jamie who presented the wines at our tasting was superb, he knew the wines up and down, explained the best way for them to be enjoyed. I left with four bottles and will be back for more!

We had a lovely time. I feel like Ive been locked out of heaven said my fiancé who has been coming to Hendersonville for years and had missed this spot to until today. Barbara is accommodating and friendly and Brant the bartender is adorable. Do the wine tasting!! 14 wines for $10. Try the white Laurel Hill, red Queen and Home Place blackberry.

This is by far the best winery we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The decor is lovely--the expansive fireplace beacons you in to stay a while and sip one of the outstanding wines. Laurel Hill is wonderful as are the new sparkling ciders. The owner, Alan, and his staff will make you feel at home--I highly recommend paying a visit!

Did a Wine tasting, on May 2, 2015 and it was nice but the bartender (a lady with brown hair), was rude and if she had been nice and fun to interact with, she might have earned the generous tip she tried to claim on my card. I pointed it out before we left and she did give me my money back, but will never go there again.

Loved the ciders & blackberry wine & chocolate coffee wine. Great service. Normally the wineries Ive been to make you go to the "bar"area to be served. This place you can sit down anywhere & a server will help you with wine tasting &etc. Food wise- the food truck was super tasty!

The winery was inviting, friendly, and full of laughter. The wine is good as well. Our attendant was very fun and interesting. She helped me find a wine that I love. My husband and I enjoyed and the people there were just as friendly. We will come again if ever in the area.

You must visit this little Gem in Hendersonville, the wine is great! They have a variety of dry wines, which is all I drink. I couldnt believe the quality of these wines, I will visit this place every time I am within 30 miles. I wish I could give it 6 stars!

One of the best vineyards we have been to on the east coast. The wine is absolutely amazing, our favorite is the Queen, but there are so many options and they are all really great! Love the atmosphere here and I look forward to the next time I can get back!

I recommend the degustation of all 14 house wines. It is great! The restaurant is very very close to the grapes, so you can go for a quick walk in the middle of the grape trees. Very nice place to go and listen a great free music band! Go and enjoy it!
