If you like cider and meads this is the obvious place to go and Im not sure that as of the writing if there is any other place similar in the Tampa Bay area. They have a very good assortment of ciders and meads all on tap and to the best of my recollection all their brews. We sampled about five meads and a cider. We are not much of mead drinkers but did find the experience interesting and actually found a couple of meads that we would sit down with sip and relax. As for the cider they, had a habanero and strawberry that was super spicey and awesome tasting. Warning it was hot! The floor space is very open with high ceiling and plenty of natural light entering the building. The open areas just seem to be missing something. I would have liked to see more themed decorations artwork or something. the place looked very clean with the appropriate volume of background music. Nickki served us and was super friendly, very knowledgeable and just a joy to be around. She had a very infectious smile and nice demeanor about herself. If it was not for her assisting us with choices and very accurate descriptions we would have been lost in the experience.

We visited during the daytime, so it wasnt busy and we had the attention of the bartender all to ourselves. It was great. We had a couple of flights to try everything out and the while cider is different, it was good. the mead is more of an acquired taste. The problem came when we wanted to buy some to take with us. They were out of everything. I have tried to go by again but keep showing up before they open. I live in Clearwater, so getting stuck in downtown Tampa traffic for a bottle of cider just isnt that appealing. I will probably try again soon.

Great spot to enjoy cider & meads. Its much more chill than the brewery. Sometimes I get a flight or if theres something I had and enjoyed a full pour is in order. My recent visit I got Theres Always $ in the Banana Stand and it was delicious. Quite a tasty banana cider. I like the atmosphere here. The brick building is probably historic. You can enjoy your drinks in or take in the Ybor view outside. They have a cool selection of tunes on the turntable. Nice change of pace from my usual brewery stops. Doggie friendly too.

Very open and inviting space. Awesome mural on the wall. Its definitely a space with personality. The cider themselves are terrific. They get changed out regularly, so what theyll have will change depending on your luck. But the variety is part of the fun. Fight the power sour is one of my favorites. Really tastes like a jolly rancher. If youre not sure what you want, they do offer flights so you can sample a few different things!

Im African American, and my first experience coming into the pub, I asked the bar tender if I can use the restroom, and she told me that I cannot use the restroom unless I purchase a drink. She had no idea if I was disabled or not. I will check to see if this was a discriminating issue. All of the white people were standing around when she said it very loud. Theresa Jones

Perfect for someone with celiac, who wishes he could still get a pint somewhere without it being mega sugary. The bartenders are very helpful when making a selection. They are almost always spot-on with their recommendations. Just tell them what you like (dry, sweet, in between, even sour), and theyll pick you the perfect cider or mead. Bonus: Dog friendly!

I am over the moon about this place. The only negative is that it is not closer to where I live. I loved the variety of ciders and liked each one I tried. Faves included the carmel apple, the peach, and the cactus - so unique! Our bartender was so friendly and informative. We bought some to bring back of the Apple Pie Cider and I wish we had more.

By far the best bar ever, me and friends frequently visit for a few drinks to start our night or end it. The atmosphere is chill and happy, never have I had a bad experience. Kim and Thom are the best, they always make it a point to chat for a bit. I recommend it to everyone.

Fantastic Cider. They always have something that is just amazing and new. Not entirely a fan of their meads, I have tried more than a dozen or so and I am not sold on those yet. Would recommend you come in and try a flight or two.

We took the tour which was a great deal. The manager gave us the tour and a complete run down on the history of historic Ybor, cider and Mead. The tasting was also informational and educational. I highly recommend the tour.

Great place. Staff is super friendly and remembers you. Just watch what you order, bees mean mead and $$$. Interesting varieties and some craft beers if you are the one in your party not into cider or mead.

First time here and none of us wanted to leave. The atmosphere is very nice, not loud, good seating but not a ton and the ciders and mead, wow, the cider and Mead selection is incredible!
