ordered a soda once and the staff was rude, the music isnt all that great. jesters pub used to get national acts to play in a tiny bar at least once a month if not more. the rock shop cant even bring in anything like that. they may have lots of beer, but they hardly have any national bands play the bar. why build a giant stage if you cant even get any big bands to play. mushroom head played jesters tons of times and they are 9 members on a tiny stage. the first year was probably as good as it will get. jesters pub was destroyed by the rock shop. the local music scene in fayetteville has gone down hill and you still have to go out of town to see big bands play.

Let Me set the Record straight on why The Rockshop A.K.A. Shawn Atkins Playground Cant Get National Acts To Fayettville NC. In the summer of 2010 Deftones played at the Rockshop and yes it was Sold Out. When it was time for the band to be paid he didnt pay what was promised to them. And at the end day He was Blacklisted for that stunt. When you rip off a top tier band like that its a rap.On a Personal note Atkins is a Chronic Douche Bag. Even people who pretend to be his Friend Talk about him like a Dog. This Place is a Joke Stay Away from this Hole and stick to the Out Of Town Shows.

I was having a great weekend until our party arrived here. The awful DJ "mixing" drumstep combined with the terrible smell and crowds of shirtless gorilla men literally made me sick to my stomach. Thank god my giant soviet buddy was there with me so I felt safe going into the bathroom to vomit repeatedly into one of their repulsive excuses for a toilet. DO NOT go to an event here unless youre a military douche or a piece of trash looking to get gang-banged by 14+ douches at once.

This place is totally and completely worthless. Filled with locals that Im pretty sure are on some serious drugs...basically stay away from here unless you want to waste your time..I will never step in that place again..if you like white trash...this is the place to go...god damn it

Was told my drink was $2.50 each. When closing out I was charged $3.50 each even though I left a cash tip. Not buying drinks here again if theyre going to charge me more than what they said and hen give me attitude about the venue not being as profitable when asking why.

It would have been 5 stars if you asked me a few years back. They would have big names come and put on shows. Now it only seems to BassBoom or Neon parties. Im sure that brings in a lot of money for them and thats great, more power to them. But bring back big bands.

I go to the Rock Shop almost once a month, and ive only had one disappointing experience, and it was because of one of the bands playing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and a lot of great bands play there, both local and nationally known bands.

Loved seeing Drowning Pool, Violent New Breed, and Against their Will here. Awesome venue, great drink selection, and for the most part friendly staff. Would love to see them get some more national acts to play here.

THE ROCK SHOP IS THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO THIS CITY. the zombie walk last year was the best time Ive had downtown on a Friday night. Best of all it was free and raising money for a good cause. KUDOS!

I had a good time at this place. Went to a foam party on April 18th, 2014 and was pretty impressed by the size and the eye candy. ;) My own small snip about it was how bitchy some of the "models" are.
