This museum consists of two storefronts across the street from each other. They are more like art galleries than a museum, there is nothing about the history of Black Mountain College. On the day I went, one of the rooms was open and had works by an artist historically associated with the college. On the other there was a sign "back in five minutes" Some people had already waited ten minutes, I waited five more. The woman across the street, in the other storefront, said "maybe he went to lunch". I called their phone number and got the answering service, no call back. If you visiting Asheville and happen to be in the neighborhood, stop in and see what is on display. But dont go out of your way to go there.
