My favorite bar in Syracuse. Maxwells has a chill vibe and great drinks and food. Ive had many a fun night sitting belly-up to the bar, snacking at a table, chilling in the comfortable chairs in the back, throwing darts with friends, and listening to live music. Great bar that does it all.

We did not have a good experience at this place. Unfortunately we have individuals who are very childish and can hold their liquor..... Being disrespectful is not part of the bar scene that Im familiar with but this would be why I dont come downtown.

Not the same.. BUT GREAT SEATING OPTIONS. Indoor, outdoor, hi tops, couches/comfy chairs. Used to be nice and well managed. Something has changed, no cocktail menu anymore. Good for darts on the bar side. Dinner menu pretty standard and yummy

Food was decent but nothing special. My wife enjoyed her food but the place was super dark. Staff was excellent though. Just an average Syracuse bar. Nothing too special about it.

The atmosphere is great! Vintage meets modern. The food was OUTSTANDING!! Service was on point too. Nothing bad to say about this place, will definitely be back soon!!
