Not only did cars get towed, their website states to park in vacant lots on Headson Dr. they refuse to acknowledge that their website states this. ( look in the FAQ section) It is sad to know that this venue does not care enough for their customers to update a website, to let people know where to park so that this doesnt happen again. Updating a website LITERALLY takes 5 minutes of their time. I enjoy the concerts that go on in this venue and yes it is an amazing place to go for amazing shows. They are fairly priced and I have always had pleasant experience with their staff. I am remembered at the door, as I bring frequent business. This is the venue I bring my children to for their music pleasure. the set up allows for them to be safe and enjoy music. The staff have always been very nice to them, and offer safe spaces for them. The ICP concert is the first concert of 2016 that I have been able to attend. There is some new staff that I have never seen before, the fact that they now allow stage diving in such a small space is disturbing, and leaves endless possibilities for people being seriously injured. Needless to say 2016 has brought a lot of change to The Lost Horizon, not all of them being good ones. I am mixed about the rating to give as it is a good place to enjoy your rock concert needs, this year has brought a lot of change that I particularly do not look forward to in the future. I will continue to enjoy concerts at The Lost Horizon, for years to come Im sure, although I hope that they do in fact update their website so that their customers do not keep getting towed.

Awful. Husband left concert because rumors about all the cars were being towed and the staff were laughing at all the CUSTOMERS running out to move them while being warned there is no re-entry when you leave. No handicap accessible place to go smoke poor Woman next to me with MD couldnt go out for a break and couldnt see the concert because of crowd and bad layout. Assholes at the doors had no concern or understanding. Fire alarm went off at last song so mad rush to get out as fire department came blazing in. This place is very quaint and would be perfect for smaller venues or a night out but bad for a large group. Trying to contact owners.

Saw Highly Suspect here. Got to the venue about 30 mins before doors and was able to get one of the few parking spots they have right in front of the building. There is a Distillery right across the street that we walked to and grabbed a bite to eat before the show. The venue is small but well suited for a rock show. Because of the size of the place you might want to wear ear plugs if youre seeing a loud band.

Overall, one of the best local venues for small bands. I would caution you to arrive early if youre seeing a band that ANYONE has heard about, since people do line up for doors. I would also recommend bringing music ear plugs, there are HUGE speakers in this place and you will almost certainly end up standing near them. They also help you to hear the music, since the mixing isnt always spot on.

Lost Horizon since I was in my early or late teens early twenties has been a Syracuse landmark its one of the best dive bars there is but in later years has undergone many Renovations and is still a Syracuse Landmark with improvements to the outside and inside you want to go to a bar that is a Syracuse landmark and worth your time and money Lost Horizon when you get to Syracuse New York

The Legendary Lost Horizon!!! Longest running music venue in Syracuse NY. Place has been cleaned up in recent years without losing its cherished "dingey/divey rock club" ambience. Many national acts coming through Syracuse make a stop at "the Lost". Great sound... great vibes... Historic venue!

Definite dive bar and absolutely perfect for watching your favourite bands. Its small but the floor levels are split which makes viewing easy from almost any area. Acoustics sound great, and I would easily come here again if I there was a band I loved coming through here!

What this place lacks in size it makes up for with outstanding sound quality and friendly professional security. It was refreshing to actually hear the vocals instead of what usually sounds like a garbled mess at other larger venues.

Its a good sized space - Im not usually interested in the acts that come through, but thats alright. The parking situation kind of sucks. Ive had fun at the shows Ive been to, though, and that counts for something.

Great venue for hardcore bands, or any band where the front crowd can get a little rowdy- the separate floors levels make a great up close experience for both those comfortable with moshing and those who arent.

Small, dark, honestly creepy. Sound system for the live bands is way too loud for the size of the place. Zero seating. ATM charged me for cash and never gave it to me. Luckily the concert was only $5

Dark dirty hole, shares parking with a strip club. Drinks are pricey. Most of the acts that play here are hardcore(ish). The kind of music that makes you angry.

Feels like a rock club should. Kinda dirty, with big sounds and plenty of PBR. My hometown spot for metal for all my years.
