Elvenbayne

Quiet small park right on the Hudson River outside of town adjacent to a nearby train station. Known as meeting point of the famous Captain Kid! Although there is no beach access, you can stand near the end of a 6-8 foot drop (w/gaurdrail) that meets the water and take in gorgeous views of the Hudson. Beautiful large green covers rocks line the coast. Sometimes the gate that leads to the Lighthouse is open if you head all the way south into it. Theres picnic tables and places to grill food and plenty of trees for cool shade in the summer.

One of the best views in Westchester. The lighthouse is obviously the highlight of this park (in a scenic sense) and makes for some great photos with the Tappan Zee in the background. We also had an event here (BBQ) and everyone had an excellent time. There is a ton of open space and open BBQs or if you just want to relax on many of the benches next to the water, you can also do that.

It is a large park with sports fields and picnic facilities as well as a dog park. It has a playground as well. There is s lot of construction going on around the park as well. The grounds didnt appear well kept and beer bottle caps littered the grilling area. We were cutting through on our way to see the Tarreytown Lighthouse.
