I love this place, always have! Been coming to Pierson Park before it was quite as fancy as it is now and I loved then. Its a place for the family, has a nice demographic mix, sprinklers and a park for the kiddies, dog-friendly, trees and greenery amidst walking paths, water and Tappan Zee Bridge views. Theyve extended the path along the water along the back of the new apartment developments that leads to the lighthouse it seems. Its quite astonishing what has been done down there and yet its a safe, clean and cost effective (free parking lot, benches, tables, picnic friendly) day out even if you live no where near there.

Great scenic park where it feels like your on vacation versus being at a public park!! The playgrounds, water feature for the kids, open grass area for concerts and playing ball or flying a kite, the scenic walk way on the water overlooking the new bridge plus a restaurant and ice cream spot what else can you ask for - some parts are still in construction and the lack of a public bathroom right now are the only complaints - but recently for residents of the town they finished the new pool and indoor gym which is pretty cool and convenient..still one the the better parks in Westchester !!

Generally a very nice experience, with pleasant views of the Hudson, the lighthouse, and the opposite shore. There is a small playground and sprinkler system for young children, a large field and river walk. This past Sunday however there was a martial arts class there with bongo drums, and they were chanting and or singing in Portuguese for well over an hour, which took away from the usual serenity and peacefulness of the park. Fifteen minutes of this would have been just about bearable and it became particularly obnoxious as it droned on. We left.

Take panoramic pictures of the river and the new Tappan Zee Bridge while the kids play. There is a playground for kids under 5 and one for kids over 5. There is also a picnic pavilion that you can reserve and splash pads for the kids. These were turned on when we went in late May. We also saw some people fishing by the river.

The views are the best thing of this park. Its easy to get here with the Tarrytown train station. There is a childrens play area which is nice. They do concerts on the summer. If you come here make sure to buy an ice cream at the lighthouse ice cream store!

Great park for a simple picnic. Great views of Manhattan down stream and there are many opportunities for exercise, from basketball and tennis to hikes and an outdoor pool. Most of the activities requires Tarrytown residency.

This park is awesome for so many reasons, breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the New Tappan Zee Bridge. Playground areas for kids aged 2-5 and 5-12 years old. Picnic tables with shady areas. Nice walkway along the river.

My favorite place in Tarrytown! You can walk and see the river, enjoy some summer concerts from local singers. Also theres a place for small kids where they can play. And a spot to do a picnic.

Great spot for brown bag lunches waterside on the Hudson. Playground, picnic , Riverwalk to the lighthouse ir just sit in a bench, enjoy the view of the new bridge and catch a cool breeze.

Beautiful view. However when theres a party going on with loud music--the pavilion is right by the playground--and the noise level is not controlled, it becomes quite a disturbance.

Small fun park for casual weekend outing with kids. Main attraction is the fountain for the kids. And they recently updated the board walk by the river with a nice viewing deck.

Very nice park on the Hudson shore. Live music occasionally and plenty of paths to walk around on. They have setup free telescopes to use towards the city and bridge.
