COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT! We went for the after party at Pacha during the Electric Zoo Festival. As we had decided last minute to go there, we bought the tickets on a laptop and thought maybe the confirmation number, along with a photo ID would work, as we did not have time after the concert (which ended at 11pm) to get a printout. So we get there, and the guy who is checking the tickets, makes this BIG deal about having a print out with you. There were 3 of us and we had all been charged on our credit card to get to this place. He says, "ANYONE can show that confirmation number and email and get in. We need to see a print out of the bar code." Um, no they cannot. You ID me and see the name matches, and you strike me off your system. Who ever shows up after is an imposter, unless he too, has the same ID as me. As it turns out, we NEVER GOT A FOLLOW UP EMAIL WITH THE BAR CODE... So we tell him that and he pretty much shrugs and tells us to let the other people through, go somehow print off a confirmation with the bar code on it (FYI which can only be done in the morning, as it would have required of me to call the ticket company and ask them to send another email)... or he says, "Tough luck ladies. Go find another place before the night ends." EXCUSE ME? Who ever put your sorry, big behind that Sunday night to do this, clearly overlooked your people skills when he put you there. When we approached the other "customer helpers" there, they tried to tell us we messed up by not filling out the email correctly. How was that possible? We got an email saying our card was charged, but we never got an email with a bar code, which was supposed to follow up. We had already spent an hour trying to deal with this and it was 1am. So we left to go to another place. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and theyre still working the details out. I even emailed the people who take care of the events and charged my card. I havent heard from them. Also, this place is so dingy and shady outside... we parked a few blocks away and while walking to this place, we were FOLLOWED by this guy in his car. Another car joined in behind him, but when they saw we were ignoring them, they left, but this guy kept following right beside us, all the way to Pacha. Ladies, going alone is out of the question. Take a few girlfriends and you might STILL be harassed. Take a guy with you. It might help. I wouldnt know, because Im not ever going there again. Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT one of the best night clubs. I did not feel safe walking there, nor inside, even when I was with two other people, and I was definitely CHEATED with the ticket. Thanks for nothing for ruining my amazing weekend at the festival.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE for ANY reason!!! This was by far the worst club Ive ever been to. I came from central PA to see Avicii and left EXTREMELY disappointed and irate. About 3 months before the show, tickets on their website were $10 and I wouldve gladly paid $10 to see Avicii, but I saw a link that said if you signed up for their eNewsletter, you could get 2 free passes to ANY show, you just had to choose which date when you signed up... did that... got an email saying my name was on the guest list for the night of Avicii. When I got there (before 11 as the passes said), I gave them my name and they said it would be $50 a piece. I explained that I was on the guest list and showed them my email and they said that their manager changed his mind and he was not honoring the free passes for the night, so the $50 was a reduced ticket price. After causing a mini-scene they told me the best they could do was $40 each and I could use my passes for another night. I dont mind paying $40 or even $100 per ticket to see Avicii, but the fact that I was emailed free passes specifically for that night and they didnt notify me until I got to the door that they werent honoring them is unacceptable. When I finally got in, the dance floor was so crowded that it was uncomfortable (and for someone like myself who frequents dance clubs like this, you know it mustve been ridiculously overcapacity for me to feel uncomfortable), I decided to go up to the 3rd floor balcony to see if that was any less crowded... it wasnt, and to make it worse, the actual space that overlooks the main floor is only about 8 square feet and is directly above the lighting so all you could see was the top of the lighting brackets. Then, to get back down to the main floor, I had to wait over an hour in line because they were only letting 5 people down the stairs at a time. By 12:30 the dance floor was so crowded that I wasnt even standing on the floor, the people around me were so crammed together that they were suspending me about a cm off the ground. Id say they were AT LEAST at double maximum-capacity. Avicii didnt end up coming on until 1:30am, so I was already dead and I was so annoyed with the experience that I left by 2am. Pacha NYC is taking full advantage of the brand name "Pacha" and ruining it. Only Pacha NYC can make Avicii a bad experience. And for the record, I will not be "using the free passes for another show."

Ive been to many clubs in Manhattan and I have to say, this is probably one of the worst places Ive visited. I went out with a group of friends recently (9girls, 6 guys) and we got 5 bottles there. We do not mind spending money as long as we have a good time and good memories. However, this place left my friends and I with a horrible impression. First of all people who purchase bottles should never have to wait, we had to wait for 15 minutes when there was no one else in line! Once we got in, the security was extremely rude, they went through one of my female friends bags and just started throwing stuff out without even asking anyone! Then one of my guy friends was not allowed in for some reason, they just told him to leave immediately, they didnt give a reason and when I asked the security politely what the problem was he told me if I didnt go inside Id have to leave as well?!? Once inside the place was horrible, I saw that someone has thrown up on the dance floor and no one cared to clean it up, I saw staff members walk past there as if nothing was wrong. The crowd was unattractive inside, I did not see a single cute girl there aside from the girls in my group and there was way too many guys inside (probably like twice as many guys as girls). They all looked pretty sketchy standing on the outside of the dance floor and just staring. On our way out (which we left early cause this place completely sucked, we didnt even finish all our bottles) I overheard one of the security guys tell another security guy that: "some stupid nige* was trying to get in...." Now, Im not black and no one in my group was black but I still found that to be a very offensive statement. Also one of my other female friends told me that one of the security guys tried to get her number?!? and when she said no, he said that he "would tap that in a heartbeat". WTF is going on here, this place is a complete joke, the security is not only obnoxious, rude, unprofessional but also low classed
