I visited the races Sunday with my brother and 2 other friends. We were greeted by the General manager who helped us out when we had a problem with purchasing programs. Latter I went to buy the Sunday special of Sahlens hot dogs which they did not have.Tthe ladies behind the counter were extremely rude when I questioned them not being Sahlens she said to me you cant expect to get a sahlens hot dog for a dollar. I walked away and did not purchase any. I then looked in my program and seen they advertised them. I went back and questioned them and she said they have them so I ordered one she turned and said here it is one Sahlens hot dog which it was not. When I questioned her again she got very upset when I told her I did not want it and please stop saying they are Sahlens. I then seen the General manager again and told him about it. He immediately took care of it, had them put the Sahlens on the grill and he even offered to cook one for me. I have never been so impressed by someone as this person, he took his time with us, stood there and talked to us and resolved the problem immediately. Awesome job. Buffalo raceway should learn from you so they stop having 10 customers on Sundays.You go there and their General manager looks like he came from the barns, sits in the grand stand reads a book and never mingles with the customers. The batavia general manager was around all day talking to customers. I have never wrote one of these before but I think everyone should know how great of a job this guy did that actually we all talked about him on the way home! awesome.

I went with a friend who joined yesterday, but she did not win. Every new member should win so that they want to return! Also, I was upset that at the Promotions area, you had the far right TV on Fox News. That is a station that is too controversial at it lies about so much politics, and it is insulting to intelligent Democrats and Independents. Fox News is offensive to minorities, the poor, Muslims, Mexicans, the LGBT community, and the list goes on and on. Shame on you for being insensitive to others who the vast majority of your patrons would be offended to see your poor choice at your front desk. This 45th President has the lowest 37% approval rating. He lies, slanders, insults women, immigrants, and minorities. It shocked me to see this for the first time. Why not play sports, or Spectrum News, or un-controversial TV stations? Please think ahead before choosing that awful station. I hope you never allow Fox News because it could motivate sensitive people to go elsewhere.

I just left Batavia and had to write a review of the day. It was "AWFUL". First the machines have not changed in forever. The lunch was not bad but extremely over priced. You earn [1] point for every $10.00 you spend or something like that. Then they charge you 900 points for a $9.00 lunch. Outrageous. The machines are very tight and pay next to never. This is the last visit from me or my money. Can not wait for Del Lago to open.

I was surprised to see new machines.I went alone and had a great time.I went with 40.00 thats usually my limit unless I win.I went home with 180.00. I was very happy. Weres the free soda machines??noone offered me drinks on the game floor either.I left early with my winnings and had a pepsi when I got home Ill still go back.its close to home. I do love it better now than before.it is better!!!

Just a word to let you know what a special young man you have working here. His name is Zach and he found a purse with three cash out tickets in it and turned it in to security, they located me and returned it. The tickets amounted to $ 200.!!!! I cant thank him enough for being such an honest person. Be proud to have him working there. THANKS AGAIN ZACH !!! GOD BLESS

This Casino is alright, but there are no table games, only slot machines. After the remodeling the building is a lot more aesthetically pleasing, for sure. The Grill (fast food place) there recently Re-expanded and improved on their menu; improving it greatly in my opinion. Fortunas, which is the more upscale restaurant here is great, definitely worth a try.

Had alot of fun ...hung in there for awhile...alot of casinos dont even let you have a fair chance...ended up 38 ahead then lost but Maureen Meacham and I had a good time...we were going to eat there if we won...gave my lee greenwood tickets i won to a girl on a machine...not able to make it to concert...she was very happy. ..ty. An extremely well-managed racino (both harness horse racing and "casino") run by OTB (Off-Track Betting, a New York State run betting house, its complicated). There are no poker tables, just slot machines and horse racing. There are 3 restaurants for some reason. High-limits gaming is considered $20 slot machines.

three years in a row they have spelled my name wrong on the passcard...my name is not even hard to spell...my last name has 5 letters...w h i t e, like the shade(color)...yet they somehow got luli out of that. i stopped going cause i got sick of that. they misspell my first name too each time.

Batavia Downs is a must go if you like slots or gambling in general. Not too crowded. Throw in Thurmans 34 Rush restaurant inside the downs and the different shows they have and you have an all encompassing experience. There will be something for you here.

Went to the bar bartender was inattentive and not very friendly a guy walked in and asked for popcorn she told him no she wasnt making any it was only 930 . Only about 10 people at bar took 20 mins to get drink

We had a great dinner, all you can eat pasta. Our waitress was wonderful. The hostess was awesome. It was a very nice experience. They will now let children in the restaurant and that will be very nice.

1st time there in over a yr & now its all down stairs. Much nicer looking now. Just wished they still had some of the older slot machines, because hubby & I use to win more on them :)

It was my first time at a casino. Just turned 18 a couple weeks previously. I insert le $10 bill into the machine and proceed to lose it all with a couple presses of a button.

The horse racing area is old and outdated but clean. Its kinda comy in that sense. I hear the food is very good even though Ive never gotten it. Good place to go and gamble

Fortunas restaurant is a decent place for Italian food. Good portions & service. I dont gamble, so I hardly remember that its there. Also not a big fan of Harness racing.

Save your money. When NY needs money, all they do is tighten the machines right up. When you get a bonus in a slot game, dont expect to hit anything substantial.

Doesnt matter how many times you go or how much you spend, you win NOTHING. Dont even bother playing max bet, even when(if) you get it, the bonus doesnt pay out.
