We went to a wedding here last week the venue was beautiful. But the customer service sucked the owners/wedding planners were not very coordinated. After numerous meetings with them plans and their ideas of what was the grooms and brides vision was always changing. For the money you pay one should receive exactly what was settled on, on the first meet. 1) during rehearsal and some set up, they allowed the public to occupy the space which gave no privacy and no room to set decorations up for the wedding. 2) Before the wedding total strangers were escorted around the area where food, and wedding parties were to be getting ready so they can sell the memberships (very disrespectful for an intimate moment with family and friends. 3) Public again was able to view wedding as though they were apart of the affair. 4) They made it so hard for those to get to the venue despite age, disabilities etc.because even with a shuttle guest still had to walk a distance, which was very unprofessional on the owners behalf and unaccommodating. 5) when cleaning up, the bride and groom paid extra for the cleaning service and family ended up paying cleaning while owners over looked everything and directing us as if we were paid staff. 6) As for the paid staff very nice and helpful but when owners would intervene the situation would become hectic. My advise to all who chose to use this venue know what you want, and be wise, do not expect for it to go smooth and make sure you have supportive family and friends that also know your vision so they can help execute the wedding of your dreams. Good Luck!!!! Best Wishes!!!!

I am very disappointed. I went to look at Casa Rondena for my wedding and really want to have my wedding here as it is very beautiful. I was told I would get an email that afternoon with pricing after looking at the property. I did not receive an e-mail from them. So, my fiance called back to follow up to make sure that they had the right email but there was no answer and had to leave a voicemail. We did not receive a call back that day nor the next. So he called back the next day to follow up and was told that the event director moved on and that they would take his name and number and would have her replacement call us back. So, we waited another day and still had no call back. Again we called but again no one answered the phone and we called back a little later in the day and was told that they were in transition and would have someone call us back that day. So one would think they would be true to their word and call but they did not. After all this my fiance and I have decided that if they were this unreliable with just trying to book the venue that the wedding may cause more of a headache then one would want on their wedding day. I would not recommend this place due to the disorganization and lack of professionalism. We would rather spend our money on a venue that truly wants our business and wants to help make our wedding day a special and memorable day for us.

Stopped here completely by chance while driving around the Albuquerque area doing photography. The property was very scenic and was what caught my eye from the road. As soon as staff saw we had cameras we were asked if we had been taking pictures outside. We were told photography was not allowed on the property without a permit from the owner. We were also told that the owner was very strict about this because he rents the property for events and had invested a lot into making it look the way it does. For a moment it seemed like they were going to ask us to delete any photos we had while standing in front of them. We stayed and tried a few of the white wines, none of which stood in my opinion. They spoke highly of these wines, comparing them to wines from California and other countries, but the pricing on the wines was high in comparison to other vineyards. Most bottles started at $20 and went as high as $45 for the Port wine. Overall we were disappointed by the wine, prices, and photography policies. While its a beautiful property, I dont see myself returning in the future.

I love Albuquerque and everything Albuquerque has to offer! I am a Young Professional in the community & my husband is active duty military. We came to Casa Rodena with several of our colleagues & brought 12 out of town guests to show (what I thought would be a great experience), but we were treated with disrespect & horrified by the service. The owner John was very negative & condescending. Upon leaving, a member chased us out of the winery asking if we had paid. Wow, offended once again. Yes, we paid & tipped well, despite the fact that our experience was one of the most awkward and demoralizing experiences I have dealt with. It has honestly left me without owrds. I desired to be more classy than the embarrassing & disrespectful service we received, but it was difficult to rise above. I have never had an experience that has led me to leave a negative review, and feel so horrible. . . but this was worth sharing.

We visit Albuquerque often and when we do we usually make Casa Rondena the place to meet up with friends. Now in October of 2014 we met friends there, one of who is a member of the winery. There use to be two sisters who were running the winery. They were so welcoming and gave the place a warm inviting atmosphere. We were sad to learn that they are no longer there. The girl who was there was just the opposite, she was not friendly and almost rude. We have always taken in our own appetizers but she informed us we would no longer be able to do this. They do no have any appetizers or food to purchase. So needless to say we will not be returning.

This was a perfect wedding venue. We had 140 people and fantastic weather. Even though there were 2 simultaneous weddings- we had no issues. Even though we had to park offsite and use a shuttle van to transport our guests- that was not a problem. The vineyard and facility was in great condition. Staff was helpful. Worth the money for this truly memorable experience. The jazz band hired (Entourage Jazz)was able to provide live music with no issues ( noise ordinance). Wedding flowed well thanks to Orange September event planners. A photographer paradise- the photos from Shayla Edenfield Photography are breath taking.

We booked Casa Rondena for our October wedding and we are SO happy to have chosen this beautiful venue for our special day! The staff was always so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable about their services. We knew our day would be in great hands since they host weddings all the time, which made our planning so much easier and stress-free. The atmosphere there was always very relaxing and lovely. We had gotten so many compliments on the wine services as well! Everything seemed to run very smoothly the day-of and I couldnt have been happier with how our wedding turned out. Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful Place, Wonderful Wines I have been coming to Casa Rondena regularly for a few years and the wines just keep getting better and better. IMy favorites are the Shining River and the 1629. The staff is always welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my questions. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking! Stepping onto the property is like being transported to Europe. Whenever I have out of town guests, I always take them by Casa, and they are amazed that such a beautiful winery exists in the center of Albuquerque.
