I had been to this theatre on a number of occasions. On a Monday of the week that I am writing this review, I wanted to buy 2 tickets to the Boz Scaggs concert. I went on line and selected 2 nice seats in the orchestra. I was late to purchase, and there wasnt a large selection of good seats left. I wasnt able to finalize and click on my selection, so I called the box office. The woman that I spoke with said that I wasnt allowed to purchase these seats because I wanted 2 and there were 3 left in that row and its the theatres policy to never leave 1 seat unsold. Now I am a regular concert goer, and there are many people who go to the theater by themselves and purchase a single seat. If the theatre feels that way, they should only sell seats in multiples of 2. Well I have never heard of such a thing. I pointed out that on the seating chart there were several single seats dotting the chart. She told me that somebody might have purchased 3 and returned 2, thus leaving a single. That didnt make sense to me because tickets are generally not refundable. She said that members were allowed to do that. I am a member of the Count Basie Theatre and all sales are final there. She claimed that she was not "refusing to sell me tickets". Well is that isnt refusing, what is? I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that none was available and she would have that person call me the next day. I never heard from anyone. Well, today is a Friday, and I checked the seating chart again, and lo and behold, the 2 tickets that I requested to buy were sold, and, yes, ladies and gentlemen, there is a single seat remaining!!!!!!!! I can not believe the nerve!!!!! I patronize The Count Basie in Red Bank, The State Theatre in New Brunswick, The Wellmont in Montclair, and the Bergen PAC in Englewood (all in New Jersey), and I have never been treated like this before where I was refused when I wanted to buy tickets to a show. I will never patronize this theatre again!!!!!!!! So the moral of the story is that if you see 3 seats and you want 2, you had better adopt a baby fast so that you can see the show that want to see!

This is an amazing place to see a show or concert. Very artsy, in downtown Morristown with lots of parking options (always read up on this before a show, as the options change!). We like to park in the church lot right across the street for $5 when it is available (not for all shows, depending on what the church has going on) or in the free lot behind the municipal building and police station - which is safe, but maybe not so much if you have had a few too many at the show (in which case, please dont drive). Anyway, they have a bar inside for before and during the show, lobby can be cramped for busier shows, but theres a gallery upstairs where theres more room (and another bar I think). Great ushers to show you where your seat is, and lots of local restaurants nearby to dine before or after the show. They offer a lot of first-class acts (saw Peter Frampton recently). Sound and view are great no matter where you sit. A first class, well run theater and concert venue without having to go to the big city!

Generally speaking, its a very nice venue. The Moody Blues sounded great last night 3/5/14. What I dont understand is the way the staff is all over anyone using an iPhone to take a video of a few songs. Theres no copyright issues and the Moodies certainly dont mind so why is the PAC taking away some of the enjoyment of this wonderful concert? I dont see any other venue doing this so I guess Ill choose my venues wisely in the future.

I had the pleasure of watching "Mamma Mia" in this beautiful theater and BOY! was I impressed. Even if you come here for a play, concert, graduation, etc, you will be sure to savor the beautiful carvings that grace the walls leading up to the stage. An absolutely beautiful theater. Seats are comfy and they have cushions (leather and cloth) to sit on if you just so happen to sit behind an extra tall individual.

The venue is only as good as the artists that perform there. They are the ones that breathe life into the house through the response of the patrons. We are fortunate In Morristown to have a very dedicated staff at the MAYO that keep things there humming and enjoyable for artists and audience alike. A great sound and lighting system tuned to perfection that is professionally managed.

I couldnt negotiate the online selection of seats. I called the Box Office and I am currently waiting with the phone on speaker. I hope I am connected soon.. And yes, I was and the whole transaction was handled swiftly and pleasantly. We are looking forward to a lovely performance.

Great venue for entertainment - from stand up comedy to musicians from all over the world, they have a variety of shows. Located amongst lovely restaurants in Morristown, right on South St, its easy to get to, although parking is a bit tough, so one should get there early.

Amazing shows, all the seats have a great stage view and they have drinks at the bar and snacks for the kids. It is in a prime location with some of the best restaurants in Morristown right around them, walking distance! Plus tons of cheap public parking!

Very nice place, cant complain about that. The have some cool beer holders now so you can bring it to your seat, have not tried it myself but admired the people sitting next to use.

Great place for a show. Its pretty small so every seat is a good one. They also recently allowed beverages in the theatre so you can enjoy a drink while you watch.

Great staff. great shows. The only thing is the drinks are super expensive like 8 dollar for a 12 ounce beer or 10 bucks for a 8 ounce glass of wine.
