Free First Thursday Nights are the best. Its a nice, fun, relaxing atmosphere, and its especially great when the Empanada Guys come. Ive not been during regular hours, but the exhibits are interesting and during First Thursdays there are so many activities to get involved in. Its just unfortunate that I can never get there before 7, because of work, so I miss a lot of the good activities happening before then.

NY quality museum here in Jersey. Great museum, with a permanant collection that includes such well-known American artists as Warhol, Hopper, and Inness, and an extensive Native American gallery. Thought provoking rotating exhibits. Check this place out, or your missing out on the "Jewel in the Burbs"!!

M.A.M. (Museum Art Museum) is a hidden gem. The Yard School of Art offers programs for children and adults. The exhibits are surprisingly fresh and change up a bit. The museum is small. Unlike some of the larger institutions in the NYC metro area, it can be walked through in 2 hours or less.

This museum is mounting increasingly ambitious exhibitions, and has fine (if spotty) collections. Maybe not destination worthy on its own, but a fine afternoon out if youre in the region.

Dissapointed that the majority of the exhibitions were closed for renovations until September 16, 2017. However, I may give more stars if renovations had been completed.

Not many art piece at exhibition. Its more of a event hall rental facility. 2 story only. Some hands-on educational programes might worth trying.

Great Museum, the classes are very well taught with good materials and your kids will surely learn art in all its expressions.
