Found several prehistoric sharks teeth along with some other fossils. One very pretty decent size cretlamna appendiculata. Wear shoes due to broken glass if you go. Take a fresh set of socks and shoes to change into afterwards and a jug of water just to wash your feet off when you get back to the car. The black sand in the creek bed gets embedded in your socks and shoes.

Great for fossil hunting! Make sure you follow the regulations on number of fossils you can take (5), size of your screen (max 18") and digging tools (trowels only.. max blade size 6").

Great place to collect. A little pull off on the side of the road with no bathrooms, but still a wonderful place to spend the day.

Its a nice activity for the summer, and iffy for a warmer winter day, but incredibly peaceful and safe area
