Stopped in for a quick couple races. When we signed up they said it would be about 40 minutes. That is no problem. An hour and a half later our first race was called. We raced, and had a good time on the track. We then went back and waited for the second race. We sat there for about an hour and watched a bunch of folks go through their races and inquired when they were fixing the track. We were told as soon as the track was fixed we would be going. Fast forward another hour after the place was pretty much empty minus one other group and we went to inquire on when we would get to go, again. This time they said they didnt see our names on the roster, and that we would be added back and get to go soon. We spent a good amount of money on the place, and waited for hours to ride the carts. They were fun, but the staff could really run a better ship. Wasted a bunch of time waiting around when they forgot about us. The place needs to be run a bit better. The carts are great, but it shouldnt take 4 hours to ride 2 rounds.

Had a great afternoon on the "mega track". It was my first time going, and had way more fun than I expected to. You get a printout after each race which shows your performance for that race and your overall historical performance. Which makes the whole thing rather addicting, trying to beat your best time and that of your friends. This could easily become a very expensive past time, as races range from $10-15 per race depending on the setup. A few of the guys there were super way into it, but they were all really cool about it, teaching you tricks and pointers for improving you times. Be warned though, if you drive like a jackass, banging into everyone else, youre going to hear about it. You are racing against the clock, not each other, so just let them pass and all will be well. Overall, was a great time, and I cant wait to go back.

Currently standing here at a company event. The vendor who brought us were awesome but the employees here are completely disorganized. We made two groups to race together as instructed, which were immediately split up amongst 4 different races. One of our names wasnt even called and we watched another random person racing under that name. I had to ask half a dozen times to make sure that person wasnt completely skipped over when it was finally our turn. If it takes over an hour to cycle through 20 people to get into a race during a dedicated company night, Id hate to be here during public hours. As of this moment theyre calling the first group for their second race and we have yet to have our group called. Edit: the racing itself is amazing. Its a shame theyre so disorganized.

I just want to take a minute to thank the staff and especially the young Manger on duty last Sunday afternoon I went there with my 6 year old son Logan for the first time and the staff was outstanding with helping him get set up for his first time racing even while waiting in line for him to race we had a issue with the game eating the tokens they went above and beyond to fix the game and give him extra tokens clearly its no big deal to most ppl but to me it shows they care and want to make your experience with them good and they have my son loved it and we will return all thanks to the staff being happy positive productive workers thanks again see you soon speed raceway

This used to be a decent place, almost like the best friend that snitched. This place reminds me of Disneyland: if Disneyland was prison. I would prefer to be the chaperone at an 8th grade dinner dance than have to watch over the workers that run this place. If had to chose between taking my children here, or taking them to the hood, I would buy a house in Compton. This will go down as one of my all time favorite worst places of america. If youre looking for a place with no chill zone, try hards, and nasty sticky chairs, then this is the place for you. Or you could go to Hibachi grill next door, where your money is actually appreciated.

The carts and tracks are solid, but you have to wait quite a long time for your turn on some days. Furthermore, the races are a bit short considering how you dont have that much control over who your group is paired with, unless your friend group has 6 people. What often happens is that youll spend 2/3 of the race stuck behind a driver whos not very good and wont pay attention to the flags telling them to move over. Instead, you have to wait for them to make a mistake, and only really squeeze in 1 or 2 laps near your top performance.

This used to be a decent go cart establishment. Now it is a run down, waste of time. The carts are slower and the tires have little traction. I would say it might be good for young children but they might find it boring also. The workers there were very rude and unprofessional which is a direct reflection of the management. I hope they fix this place for the sake of the people spending their hard earned money there. Not for the sake of the jobs of the workers because I wouldnt hire any of them to take care of my fries at Mcdonalds.

Go cart racing is great fun for all ages. These electric trace cars are low to the ground and fast. Race prices are a bit high at $20 per race so look for specials on their website. They do get crowded at times so try to make reservations if possible. The track surface is a very smooth concrete so the card will tend to spin out when buying a sharp curve with speed. I feel it would be better if the surface were scarred and rougher. The tires would get better traction and allow for higher speeds.

My two friends and I walked in to race at around 10. We were told that there were no spots and were waiting in the entrance thinking of where to go. 5 minutes later, a staff member comes up and tells us that we can be squeezed in to a race. 1 is better than none. We had an absolute blast. The price and waiting is worth it. The staff was very cooperative and friendly, especially with a couple 19 year olds that enjoy acting like high schoolers.

This place was nice. I thought this was something like a arcade but it wasnt. The cars are fast & runs off electric. I love the go karts at seaside heights. They run off gas & the track is very big. The track here at Speed Race is small all because they want to have two races at once which is retarded. They shouldve combined them together to make a bigger race with better competition. Overall rating B-.

Fun, but after spending several hundred dollars+you think theres be a frequent flyer discount or something. You only get a limited amount of times around the track for each time- so how come when they slow everybody down for three laps, those laps count as full laps? Poppycock!!! Not for this kind of money, I dont mind spending the money-but I want my kids to get their moneys worth also!!!
