Having been part of the NJ music scene I can say this is not a good venue. Came here 4/1/17 for a concert and I think the experience could have been MUCH better. The sound was so bad that it really ruined the experience. Starland Ballroom is infinitely better and doesnt cost too much more. The Good: Easy to get to, parking lot (for $5). Jeez I guess thats really it. The Bad: Terrible Sound - Youll see regular complaints about the audio quality and Ill back it up. Awful mix and it really wasnt loud enough. No beer - This is self explanatory. Pound a few in the parking lot and dont bother sneaking anything in. They give you a good pat down which really holds up the line to get in. Expensive - Despite not having alcohol they still find a way to rob you on drinks. $4 for a 20oz Diet Coke? $3 soft pretzel was actually rather fair. Small bathrooms - Mens room can only accomodate 4 people at once. At least nobodys drinking heavily.. Flooring - Yeah, someone complained about the floor being slippery. I didnt experience this but my sneakers and pants are covered in what appears to be the floor paint. Dont wear shoes youll want to wear again. Poor organization - They ran 2 stages and the side stage was even worse audio than the main stage. They also made bands tune up and sound check while the other was playing! Really rude but not having any delay between performances was nice. With 8 opening acts it was the most efficient way... I probably wouldnt return to this venue unless it was a band I REALLY wanted to see. Even then, the awful sound would likely ruin the experience.

The concert itself was nice. The security on the other hand was terrible. One security guard in particular "max"" manhandled everyone and was extremely rude and obnoxious. I watched as he told many people to "get out" or "leave". The show ended and some flew in from Many different states to see this concert. I myself was mistreated by this man. As I waited for my daughter to exit the restroom I was told in a very harsh and abusive manner to move and to leave. I informed this man I wasnt moving until my daughter exited the restroom. He again said leave. I watched him verbally abuse others as well. He should be fired. This man has no business dealing with the public whatsoever. I met people there who flew in from Puerto Rico to support their children and were also abused by this mans agressive behavior. Never again will I visit this establishment!! I give it 1 star. If I could give it a zero I would !! I also informed this man that this is no way to treat fans who come from all over to these venues! Max you should be fired!

My sons who paid for a VIP ticket were treated horribly. My one son is 25 and was questioned about his ID and treated like he had a fake ID. My other son who is 19 was denied access to the VIP section because he was not 21 when it specifically says 21 OR accompanied by an adult 21 or older. So why did they take his money? The VIP section was a joke! It was not as published. The VIP area was in between stages with a bunch of trees with mulch on the ground with no side of stage Privileges. The only Private Entrance was a one lane line right next to the general admission. They did not have a separate VIP lane for security and had to mesh in with the everyone. There was no access to private restrooms with attendants. Later in the day, they did add 4 porta johns for the VIP section. My sons had to go into the general admission area and had a better view and were able to enjoy the bands. The VIP tickets were a rip off and I am looking into contacting the better business bureau for false advertising or a bait and switch situation.

Went there last night. first off I dont care if you know the bouncer or not. Doesnt change the fact your throwing full out punches at people trying to hurt them . Bumped into the kid who was doing that and he checked me so I checked him back kid came around with a back elbow trying to hit me I was able to side step outta of the way and I pushed him away . Then proceed to get outta the pit kid then proceed to go to the bouncer says I started with him and was grilling him trying to fight I said no I just didnt want to get hit so I kept an eye on him to make sure bounce then says I started it and Ill have to leave since I was the problem. Clearly not the case sorry but this was the worst experience i ever had I didnt care for how the place was run nor the fact I paid the 20$ to get in the get messed with cause the kid who was full out punching dudes and even girls cause he knows 2 or 3 people so he can do whatever he wants and get away with it .

Came here a couple of times in 2015 for some shows, and I can confirm that GameChanger World is literally the worst venue Ive ever been to. The sound in the room is abysmal because its a gaint cement box not built for concerts. Theres no form of temperature control. Parking is laughable. There is zero crowd control. And worst of all, theres no bar to help me forget about how terrible the venue is. If the band you want to see is playing ANYWHERE ELSE in the tri-state, go there. Youll be better off paying a few extra bucks/traveling further because youll see/hear a better quality show.

Have been to about 4 shows here. The first one was awful because the acoustics suck. The second show was a lot better, but as other reviewers stated the crowd control needs to be handled better. I shouldnt have to worry about getting punched in the face even when Im standing clear away from the pit. I just went to a show tonight and was extremely dissatisfied. They closed the main stage and forced the bands to play in a corner where you cannot even see anything. This place needs to get their act together. Its a shame because a lot of great bands play here.

After attending Hyperglow on 12/26, I felt the need to post a review about my terrible experience. First of all, the entire ceiling was leaking water and dripping on everyone. The sound system was horrible and there were WAY too many people for such a small space. The maximum capacity for this place is 800, and there had to be around 2,000 people at this event. Even more, the bathrooms were a disaster. Finally, as a result of the event being "all-ages" there were hundreds of CHILDREN and teens at the rave. It was a nightmare. Avoid this place, its an armpit.

My daughter is trying to attend a show there tonight which was supposed to begin at 6:30. They are still standing outside at 7:45 in sub-30 degree weather waiting to get in. No one has come up to them to explain the delay. They are numb. I called the venue and they stated all their security was called to a bad car accident and that was the reason for the delay. Im extremely sorry for the bad car accident but that is absolutely no excuse for not having a "back up" plan in place. Needless to say, this place gets a negative rating in my book.
