First of all the food is amazing...of course. However, today my family and I had an extra special visit because of our server Calvin. Last year we found out that my son is severely allergic to tree nuts. Since then we have learned to navigate the path of appropriate, safe items he can have. Today, we ordered him chicken tenders and fries. Harmless, but as Calvin came to refill our glasses I asked if he could double check about cross contamination, just in case. Really it was an after thought and my husband later told me he thought at the time my actions were unnecessary. Fast forward a few moments and a runner brings out my sons food. As he was a bit distracted by the TV his reaction was a little delayed, but just as he reached down and begin to bite into a fry, Calvin showed up and literally pulled it from his hand. He had immediately went and asked the chef who said yes, the oil they used to fry the fries and chicken tenders, was also used to fry their pistachios and walnuts. To reference the severity of this for our family...last year my son took a single bite of a cashew and spent 3 days in ICU on an epi drip. This was our first exposure to the world of allergies. During his allergy testing we found he is allergic to cashews...obviously...but...on the scale of severity, he is far more allergic to pistachios. Pistachios!!!! The very thing they fried in the same oil as my sons meal :( Needless to say Calvin is our hero right now! So many times I hear of families concerns being brushed aside and staff not following up. But Calvin went immediately to find out. I hope you read this, because thank you again!! Today was our learning experience...even when you think you have it down to what is safe and what is not...check again...just ask! If I hadnt we would have been at a hospital instead of enjoying our day together as a family.

Excellent experience with both the food & service. With our party having a Celiac requiring gluten free foods, and another with dairy intolerance, we always approach new restaurants with some hesitation, but found our server, Paul, to be very knowledgeable himself, along with a dedicated gluten free menu, and our expectations were exceeded. Dietary adjustments to dishes can be made upon request, making dining with food allergies painless. 5 stars for Gluten Free and for well presented and tasty food. P.S. - you have got to try the baked goat cheese appetizer - superb! (Pauls recommendation).

I had the best time there last night, 12/16/13. The waiter Tony was amazing, he took care of a table of 9 women over 40ish and made us feel like we were 25. The food was amazing, the drinks were fabulous (2 cosmos), then before we left, we asked Tony if he would take our picture, what he did next was amazing. He moved us into the barrel room which was beautiful and took our picture. We all left feeling like we were royalty. Great place, cant wait to go again!!!!

This is one of our favorite places in chesterfield! Everything that we have ever tried has been wonderful. They have $5 wine and half off appetizers and flatbreads for happy hour! They also have a wine club that you can join for extra perks! The bartenders are phenomenal and really know the answer to any wine question that I have ever asked! We just tried it two weeks ago and have already been back three times!

Wonderful! I had the chefs special snapper with sqid ink polenta - so different and amazing! Husbands ribeye with garlic tyme butter sauce was the best he has ever had. Our waitress Taylor F was fantastic. Only disappointment was the chocolate cake for dessert. It was ok - no where near the calibre if the rest of the meal though.

I should have written a review a while ago. We have been going to Edgewild for the past 3 years or so, and we have had a great experience every time. Service has been great, food is awesome, and the wine club membership is totally worth it. Not to mention, the fire islands dinners are amazing!

The food was great. The scallops and steak (with a truffle sauce) were great. The steak was done perfectly, that never happens! Also many kudos for having Missouri wines! The Norton we had was great. The chocolate chip cookie with ice cream was fantastic. Cheesecake was just ok.

This place is heaven for a wino. Wine Wednesdays they have food specials and all of their wine is half off! Come here on a weekend and you might be lucky enough to catch a live musician. The ambiance is nice and relaxing. Try their grilled shrimp and beer cheese!

Edgewild provided a great venue for our wedding rehearsal dinner. The food was excellent, and the service perfectly adequate (some of the waitstaff seemed a bit overwhelmed but nothing suffered). The space is great and easy to get to, with simple parking.

Went for Easter Brunch. The server spilled an entire tray of bloody marys all over me and others. Nobody from management even acknowledged the mishap. Needless to say, not a possitive experience for our annual family Easter brunch.

Excellent, modern restaurant with a wide selection of dishes, small to large. The mushroom/brie soup is particularly good. The beer selection is somewhat limited, but that is not unexpected from a place specializing in wine.

Amazing food, great wine, and fantastic staff. The wine club for this restaurant is spectacular. It is a pricier restaurant but you get what you pay for. Management is actually out on the floor in various degrees as well.

My girlfriend and I went for Valentines Day and loved it. Bear was our waiter and he was amazing! All of the food was excellent and cooked perfectly to order. We will definitely be going back for special occasions.

Very nice place. Crab chowder was excellent. Had two fish platers. 1 star. Being from south florida, I know a little about fish. Presentation was great but very very disappointed with the flavors or lack there of.

Great place to take a girl if you think shes special or whatever. I dont drink wine, but the waiter suggested a red wine that paired well with my Orbit gum. I ordered the bison meatloaf and it was awesome.

My wife and I have been here close to a dozen times. We have some favorites, but nothing has ever been anything less than excellent. Highly recommend. Top 5 place for us in St. Louis.

This says it is a winery, however I tend to disagree since you serve no wine as your own. You are actually more of a wine bar that serves wine from other wineries. wouldnt you agree.

Smoked Crab Chowder is full of flavors. It makes me want to dive into the soup bowl however I can do away with their Chicken Paillard.

Eh. Not what you should expect. Menu average, food poorly prepared, presentation lacking. Prices are the only thing upscale.
