A Private User

Their chambourcin was okay. It was a good price for the case at just over $8/bottle (purchased oct. 2008). A live musician played some relaxing music, but in between songs obnoxious blues music from the neighboring winery would disturb the peace. What turned me off was the screw-top bottles and the plastic cups they hand to you taste or drink your wine. There is no service, you have to go get the wine yourself. These little inconveniences made a mediocre experience. Until then this place will just be average. There is no view from the patio.

Complex flavors. Wines from Norton grapes seem not to have much nose, which is more than compensated by the taste on the palate. Their 2012 Chambourcin is their best in years. Their Seyval Blanc has a delicious taste of grapefruit; perfect with cheese and fruit. Their 1999 Norton was excellent, if you can still find a bottle. An inviting tasting room, pleasant and informed staff. And wonderful wines!

Having briefly visited the Augusta wine region previously, my wife an I were excited to spend a little more time exploring the area. At the end of recent visit Augusta Winery is our favorite. Each wine we tasted was delicious. The special Riedel tasting was a treat, and Mindy was an excellent host and guide through the expansive wine list.

Still one if the best wineries in the Augusta area. The staff we met was very knowledgeable and helpful since we are just wine lovers not connoisseurs. Wines were semi- dry to very fruity. I cant say enough about the place, will definitely return in the near future.

Awesome place! Wine is great! $10 for bottle. No corking fee. $16 was the most expensive. Plenty of seating/parking. Room for kids to play and have fun. I would come back with out a doubt.
