We were on the winery tour thus weekend. We had an awesome time! We did the afternoon tour with Dennis. The $65 was worth every penny. During our first stop, we had 5 samples of wine. Dennis also fed us with cheese and crackers. During our second stop, we had 14 samples of wine, 12-in thin pizza from Procentos. Our group was simple and ordered pepperoni and sausage between 4 people. Other pizza toppings was spinach & mushroom or plain cheese. During our last stop, we had 6 samples of wine. It was definitely helpful to do the tour because the wineries were not that close together and lots if driving was involved. Dennis also provided bottled water in the bus. Will definitely do this tour again!

I would not recommend this tour. Dennis did not pick us up where we had arranged to be picked up and he changed our 3 winery stops to 2 winery stops (due to the fact that one of wineries was out kind of far), well isnt that what we paid him for. so we had a stop at Council Hill Station where there was live music. this place was a huge disappointment. dont take his bait and switch when you paid for 3 wineries, get 3 wineries. Dennis kept interrupting our conversations while we were enjoying our wine tasting and he appeared sort of in a hurry like he had other plans and wanted to cut our trip short. dont waste your money on this tour, choose someone else.

I decided to plan a private wine tour for my best friends bachelorette party and I could not be more happy with the service and tour we received during our time in Iowa! Dennis was great from the very start! Answering all (and I had a lot) of questions and the day went off without a hitch! He was very knowledgeable about the area and all of the wineries we were visiting. Not to mention putting up with a group of 10 women...could not have asked for a better guide. If you are looking for a great time, while drinking delicious wine, youve found your spot!! Thank you again for making this a weekend to remember.

My mom, sister, and I recently made the trip to Galena, IL for a girls weekend and did the Black Hawk Wine Tour. We had an absolute blast! Working with Dennis was great - he made booking easy and called the night before with our pickup time. Pickup was right outside our hotel which was great. Dennis was very knowledgeable about the wineries and made our experience great. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience some of the local wine in the region.

Had a wonderful time on the tour with my daughter and her two friends. Dennis was very friendly and informative as were the wineries we visited on the tour. Tour bus was very clean, air-conditioned and prompt on pick up. Definitely recommend this tour.
