Terrible customer service. They charge a $5 cover fee per person, but dont tell you that theres no seating and an hour-plus wait for food. They will not refund the cover fee or let you see if its too crowded and decide you dont want to stay, and you cant see how crowded it is from the cover fee collection table, so its basically a scam to get money. Food was awful, had a raw burger and a sandwich with a hair in it and waited an hour in line! When I politely tried to tell the manager about the hair and uncooked burger, he yelled at me that he couldnt care less about it, and that he would not do anything about it, nor give a refund (I didnt ask for one), and he told me and my family to get out, or he would have us escorted out! It was unreal! Never been spoken to that way by a manager, ever! He spoke the same way to others that were asking for refunds of their cover fee because there was no place to sit and food line of over 30 people. There are other nice wineries in the area...Id avoid this one at all costs. Id give it zero stars if I could.

Went to a venue on June 25, 2017 and the preparation for the event was horrible. Before purchasing 30 VIPs, and a guarantee from the hostess that they would not run out of food like our last visit in 2016, I purchased the 30 tickets. Low and behold they ran out of food. On the 26th, I talked to the manager Jim, who is very unprofessional, rude, and full of excuses. Although we spent $1000.00 to get into the venue, and $150.00 for VIP, he stated that he cannot support any statements from his employees when dealing with customers and no VIP refund will be given, although I already refunded them myself. This place is definitely about the money. Complaints of over priced food, poor management with the likes of Jim, and horrible service has stained this business reputation among organizations. Jim, retire and get a real manager, and a real team that knows how to talk to folks. And yes, I am critical as you called me sir, because I am a paying customer. Jazz Specialist Tim Cunningham, on the other hand was excellent.

We planned a wedding there, and placed a $1300 deposit. We had to change the date due to a family situation well in advance before the event took place. An alternative date that would work for us was not availible. We were told we could not have a refund or use the deposit towards wine purchases. We then asked to have a small party or some other function there instead. Mt Pleasant would not allow us to change it to a small party or use the deposit towards anything else. I would not recommend them for any Wedding or Parties. Buyer beware! P.S On 12/18/2015 Mount. Pleasant (I assume Chuck Dressel) called me and threatened to sue me for Liable if I did not remove this review. Chuck please refund my money or allow me to use the deposit for some other services. Keeping the money for no services rendered is not good business.

Man, if this place considers their eatery as fine cuisine, then why would Mount Pleasant Estates whinery serve food on plasticwares? The food was cheap quality and overpriced. Better off eating off their lawn where neighborhood dogs use as a toilet! Even worse, the management staff is apathetic about customer service. Charging me a cover fee before even stepping into the winery and not giving a refund once a I immediately walked back out after seeing the mile-long line of patrons is insane! The old-age-manager rudely said that he wouldnt give me a refund whatsoever, regardless of the lack of service or the mile-long line. He needs to go back to the nursing home where he belongs!

Mount Pleasant Winery has beautiful views and nice concerts. However, the stage that they use does not allow you to see the artist performance. There are too many obstructions and the area is taped off from guests. Clearly, by now they should have some idea that the guests come for the entertainment as well as the wine. Always bring your own seating or arrive really early. Additionally, the food is over priced. The lines are long and they are under staffed for the amount of people they host at these events. Clearly, by now they should have some idea that the guests come for the entertainment as well as the wine.

The management/owners are very rude and disrespectful, as in tried to kick a group of 10 people I was with out after being there for several hours buying lots of food/drinks. They wanted us to leave and come back in to pay the $20 cover charge to see the band "theOpeople" needless to say i will never be back or recommend them. There are many other places in the area that are highly recommended and have great service/staff

Mount Pleasant is one of those places you always leave happy. Their wines are incredible, their ports even better, and their service exceptional. Every time weve been to this winery, Jack and Lynette have given us extraordinary service. We are members of the wine club for its great wines and having such great staff only makes the experience better.

This place is horrible. Their wine tasting place is the most unoranized place I have been to. This could be because all the tour buses are allowed here and theyre overwelmed. On top of this their guy nearly lost my credit card. I would never go back here. Go to Montelle Winery, much better wines and service!

Went during the day and had a wine tasting. Lynnette was very knowledgeable and made our time there absolutely fabulous. The wine selection was great! I recommend the Tawny port has a rich butterscotch aftertaste beyond delish!

Horrible service. Everyone was waiting in line for over a half hour to buy a bottle of wine without even tasting it. They clearly dont care about selling their product.

Cant go wrong at Mount Pleasant. You have to pay a relatively hefty $6 for the wine tasting, but you get a really nice tasting room and a beautiful setting to drink.

Wine tasting is great. Lynette and Jack really make the place enjoyable. Outdoor Bar-B-Q was great and wine is terrific.
