To keep things on a positive note, some of the burners on the stove worked. My friend that made the reservation read the reviews on this site and when she made the reservations for 2 rustic cabins she specifically requested these particular ones because they were suppose to have the least amount of issues. Like I stated above some of the stove burners worked and some didnt. You could see daylight under both the front door and the back door of one unit but not the unit our friends stayed in. I am not going to list all of the issues like the condition of the cooking utensils. The place was clean and the folks at the entrance were nice but apparently the position of cabin maintenance is going unfilled.

Flint Creek is absolutely beautiful! Facilities and staff are so kind and friendly! The cabins are very nice and clean. The swimming beaches and the fishing lake are unbelievablely clean and filled with plenty of fish. Just crusing along the camp roads youll see lots of gorgeous wildlife including deer,birds, and other amazing wildlife. If youre looking for somewhere nice, clean, and has a family-friendly enviroment, I definitely recommend booking a visit to Flint Creek. My family and I will be back very,very soon!

I have visited the park since I was a child. I have been staying in both the cabins and the camper locations for many years including at least once a year for the last 10 years. In the past 5 years or so the park and the cabins in particular have not been maintained the way they should and the prices for cabin rentals have continued to rise. Still a decent place to come but the lack of maintenance has our group looking elsewhere.

It is a campground. NOT expensive. The toilets flush and there are showers. I dont understand all of you people complaining. You are camping in the woods. If you are scared of bugs and something old then just stay home. Some campgrounds dont even have flushing toilets, only outhouses. The people that work here are very nice. I have tent camped and stayed in a camper here many times. I love it. Great place to stay.

Always love to camp here. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Bath houses are a bit old and outdated but not horrible. My only negative. Other than that, camp sites are great, well maintained and roomy. I like the fact that someone may be in a site next to yours but you can hardly see them. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone. Very scenic thru and thru.

We really like going to flint creek, BUT they really need to do something with the bath houses. They are it bad shape. I called the main office and was told that there were old. Old, unkept and Dirty are two different things. A can of paint and fixtures would be a good start. Someone needs to make sure there being cleaned properly.

Campground was dirty with litter throughout the park. Bath houses were filthy. I know we are camping but if you dont have sewage hookups throughout the camp ground at least have a clean bath area. My children did learn some nice curse words that were written on the stalls. Disappointed.

This place is not a good place to visit!!! The lady that runs the register would rather talk then wait on customers. Then there was an older man sitting at the tables the whole time making the kids feel uncomfortable!!! The upgrades they did were definitely not worth the price increase!!

The actual water park is a joke with 2 or 3 slides that have brown water pouring down them. We went on opening day when they made it sound like there would be free crawfish but no, you had to pay $10 for a plate in addition to the $18 entrance fee. No wonder it was empty.

Love the rustic feel of this place Ive visited many other campgrounds around coast and have yet to find one like this. Love the nature trail to take kids walking. Great fishing looking into a seasonal site for next year while kids are out for the summer.

Beautiful Disaster

Ive been going to flint creek since I was a little girl and continue going with my children. Its very clean and family orientated. They have swimming and boat area and water slides. Restaurant is clean andfood is very good. Love this place!!

I was there for three days in the primitive campground had a blast workers are very friendly and helpful and it was a great experience for me and my friends. I hope to stay in a cabin later in the year Ill definitely return great place.

The swimming area is pretty restricted when it comes to distance and depth and the cord holding the floats are sharp in some area and cut my toe but the cabins look very amazing and boating is nice plus there is a water park :p

Its a fun outdoor atmosphere . Brought my son to go fishing we didnt catch anything but we saw three deer and he was so excited. Primitive camping, right slots,and cabins are also available some also with lake side views .

Well it used to be fun but I think they are stupid for charging by the person instead of by the car I think Ill tell everyone from now on to go to Paul b jhonson where they only charge by the car

The millennium cabin we checked out of today was infested with roaches. I left pillows and anything else I didnt need. I was bitten by a bug all night in one of the bedrooms. Worst experience!!!

Been going for years it is a great place to relax and in joy the out doors so clean ... the cabins are always kept nice and clean.... to some fine creek .... FABULOUS FAMILY PLACE....

Tree limbs need to be trimmed off metal roof. Beds were the worst I have ever experienced. Not enough lights in cabin 19. Only one small lamp in each room. Great location on water.

Large lake and lots of camping spots. Swimming, boating, fishing and all those great outdoor activities. Nearby Wiggins offers groceries and other shopping.

We go every year and we have a blast we love it nice place to bring the kids to swim and boating and put them on a tube and the staff is number 1

We have our family reunion there every year. And have for yrs and yrs. Some rent cabins some camp at campsites and so just come for the day.

Its a nice getaway for camping, renting a cabin renting RV space. Good for fishing, swimming, laying on the beach, or boating activities.

My family camps at flint creek every summer we love it. Yes the bath house needs some work but yr camping. Not at a 5 star motels.
