The Sheldon has history and antiquity down - it is a beautiful community theatre and offers a range of presentation styles from the expected Stage acting to the unexpected Screened Movies (the Sheldon used to be THE place for new Movies to be screened in Red Wing!) The two things keeping this venue from a Five Star rating in my opinion are 1) The theatres age. The seats are definitely from a bygone era and feel small, spring-filled, and compact. 2) the ticket pricing is a tad above what a small Blue Collar town can afford for "regular outings". Other than those two things, and as a patron who visits as well as an actor who has been on the Stage there many times, I highly recommend a trip to The Sheldon.

Such a beautiful old fashioned theater. A nice mix of local and traveling shows, musicals and dance and drama. Fun place to see acts in a more intimate setting.
