Went to the haunted tour here and had my k2 meter with me. It was going off frequently, especially by the stage and up by the projection booth. The tour was nice and the tour guides were excellent. As with any ghostly place you have to have patience. If they provided ghosts for you it would be a play, not a haunted tour. They also offer a more controlled environment 3 hour ghost hunt for $40. As a more experienced ghost hunter I will say that all indications are that this one truly has some activity going on. We were also able to get some responses via the k2 meter by the projection booth. All in all, an interesting place and well worth the entrance fee of $20.

I just had my wedding at the Mounds theatre and what an amazing experience. Thank you so much to Alex and Jessica and the rest of the amazing staff at the Mounds theatre for making the night absolutely perfect. The space was stunning, they worked with us and were extremely flexible and offered us incredibly reasonable rates. I cannot express my thanks enough for the staff at the glorious Mounds and I am so thankful that I will be able to see shows and other events in the future!

This theater in the rough is really great. We saw the Secret Garden and thought all the actors did a great job... particularly the kids. This play followed a similar version of the same play that was panned. So we didnt know what to expect... and were we pleasantly surprised! The prices were reasonable (two for one prices were offered through the Entertainment Guide), available street parking, and the staff very friendly. All in all, very delightful evening.

As someone who has seen a lot of Mounds Theatre (I was in several plays there, watched a few, and worked there as janitor and concession sales) I can say that it is one of the most interesting theaters around. It has a long history going back to the days of black-and white movies; it has a unique personality (part of which is the fact that it is haunted!) and it has fun little shows by community theater groups.

This was by far one of the coolest places I have been to. Not only did it have the dinner theater aspect (both dinner and the play were amazing) but the theater itself is so full of history. The fact that it is haunted and they offer tours made me want to come back.

A cool retro theater with good seating and views of the stage. The fact that they serve alcohol and local beers is also a bonus. Parking is free but its on the street and the neighborhood is a little disconcerting, however Ive never had any bad experiences.

Visited for a LARP event group. We had a private reservation with access to the theatre floor & a side room. It was a cozy space and a great experience. They also kept the snack and drink bar open for our event!

An amazing venue to catch a variety of shows. Ticket prices and concessions are super affordable. Plus the haunted tours are a lot of fun. This is a great nonprofit theatre.

The staff and stage crew did a great job. I enjoyed a two night performance of the burlesque show, it was the most fun you can have and laugh your head off.
