only good thing is progressive video poker has good odds, Casino lacks effective management that can bring in new generation of gamblers. diamond joe is the better casino in dubuque, Mystique always behind the times with a staff that is untrained and caters to the blue hairs that bet small amounts and complain about everything. ideas like going non-smoking, better comps, better quality gifts or better off track betting are just ignored by management who always has a excuse. why would anyone go bet the horses there when they dont carry the top tracks like Keneeland, or Churchill downs, just bet on TVG instead. dog racing is dead, only drunks show up there and their security is reluctant to remove so they just annoy customers and send business away. this casino is run just like a non-profit, poorly!

I attended the Smashmouth Concert on August 11th at Mystique. I purchased 3 tickets totally approximately $120. Mystique cancelled the show due to Lighting, during the show they claimed if bad weather continued then they would move the concert inside. Instead they cancelled it without notifying the crowd. Then offered no refund and forced people to stand in line at Customer Service to find out there was no refund rather than just announce it. Do not attend a concert there unless youre willing to take the chance that theyll just cancel it and keep your money.

Another year of Rockin it out at the the Back Waters Stage. The Black Moods are a new favorite! Autograph and Skid Row rocked! Always a good time. Some times we walk away with more in our pockets than we came with. Some times we leave with empty pockets. Lol But either way we always leave having had a good time! We also attend concerts here. Rocked with HeadEast inside. Outside we rocked with Ratt, Warrant, and one of our new favorite bands Badlands House Band! Both venues are great! Keep bringing us the big name rockers from the past, we love it!!

I could not have had more fun the day WE visited. This palace had everything going on. By the time out got out of the casino Diva Lady Go only had one tear in ITs eye and that was self evident from the splashing fountain under the rotunda in the 24/12 grand entrance. Who knew that the Japanese boat seamen of the "Eye Sector" translating Dubuque would drip such a load to the bridge of a Slovenian Ka Key nose. Talk about a XXX rating with the Zeus one arm bandit and the Diamond Queens slot on a hot and horny honeymoon night on the Reality Kings Canal.

Casino was nice. Very clean. Small, decent variety of machines, but not much variety as far as table games. Was there for a concert, and that was a joke. Just cordoned of a section of parking lot for it. No seating unless you paid for VIP. Food was ok, but again, not much variety. Alcohol was decently priced as far as concerts go, but getting what you actually ordered was another question altogether. Not very experienced bartenders/waitstaff at concert.

We went for the seafood buffet. The food was decent, but seemingly plain. The breaded fish was the best part. The crab cakes were ok, as were the clams. The shrimp pasta had way to much garlic salt. The crab legs had good flavor but were served out of a dry bin so the meat stuck to the inside of the shell. The prime rib was bland by my standards. For $16.99 it was decent, but the food could be prepared better without adding cost to the meal.

Was here Wednesday dinner buffet around 5:30pm and was not impressed, small selection of food, didnt seem fresh more like cooked the night before and kept hot, very small selection of sweets,$16 for buffet is a joke this more of a $10 buffet even with the prime rib, Rhythm casino in Davenport way better 100% and prairie meadows in Altoona they have same prices and huge selection of food and sweets, never coming here again

Stop in if you enjoy winning 36 cents of your 3 dollar bet every 3rd spin, oh and if you enjoy hitting a bonus screen every now and then, good luck.. your going to need it! Maybe instead of hiring all the washed up bands they should loosen up the machines a bit so people at least appear to be enjoying them selves...

Great place always have good time tables are nice wife plays slots does ok staff are nice clean place the free shows are really good now we stay at the hotel love it there staff is great wish the room prices would be set we drive 3hrs to get there thats what we think of our Indian casino around here there bad

I have lost $2100 in this place over the past 3 months. Not one single machine gave me back anything-even ones I always win at least what I put it. Their improvements are coming out of our wallets. Ill never return. Diamond Joes is the only one for me! I wish I could give a -0 rating

Waste of time - just go in and give them your money because you will lose anyway. Been there several times with family and dont ever see anyone win (even 10 dollars). Agree with another comment that the state of Iowa should check into this place. Just go to the diamond jo.

Games are alright, food is not anything to brag about. Beautiful interior to the building. You can change a name but keep the inside the same? Casino has gone thru too many changes, trying too hard to succeed with little to no pay out to consumers.

The new name...."Q" stands for QUICKLY TAKES YOUR MONEY!!!!! Do yourself a HUGE favor and go to ANY other Casino but this one. Iowa gaming should look deeply into their machines. It is far....FAR...from the "90.4" payback they claim.

The casino is on the smaller side. Lots of slots to pick from. Dealers are for the most part helpful when playing. No problem getting drinks every 10-15min. Only problem I have had was with the attitude of one or two of the dealers.

Great experience due to meeting Randy and Liz at our 10 dollar black jack table. We may have been the loudest table, but definitely the funniest. Thanks Bobby Brown, Nate, Kevin, and finished our nite when Nathan came.

Husband and friends were escorted out by a couple of suits after a couple drinks and trying to spend refunded tix money from a cancelled concert, which they were refunded on a card from the casino! Very unprofessional.

Friendly staff... Great food... Cheap drinks... Comps are easy... Plenty of room inside, no waiting for machines.... All table games start at $5 min, allows u to enjoy hours and hours of gambling

Doesnt contain the wow factor that the Diamond Jo does. It also lacks the event space. Great gambling floor but if youre looking for something more head south to the other Casino.

New name. Nothing else new. Really behind in looks, flow, gaming, and food. Put an emphasis on entertainment, but for gamblers its not a concern. Bull doze it and start over.
