Wonderful little tucked-away beach spot. Nice playground area, sand volleyball court, and picnic shelter. Not sure if the shelter requires reservations, but I rarely see it in use. The adjacent (and connected) Silverwood Park is also wonderful, but is much busier and has less to do for the younger kids.

The beach is sandy, in addition to being nice and small. There is a little too much seaweed for my taste, but otherwise it a nice place to go swimming that isnt too busy.
