Every time I go to a park I hope it is as large and beautiful as this one. It has amazing lake access, a playground, and public bathrooms. But wait! Theres more! On the other side of the street is an extensive field, with gazebos placed for taste, and a winding network of forest paths that are guaranteed to put your mind at ease. I took a picture with my brother after a particularly rainy week and the whole thing is stunning. Plus all of the events and camps that claim this place as home add to Minnesotas lovely community. One camp in particular is called "Cardboard Camp" and the amount of fun I had there is uncontested thanks to the wonderful place it was in.

This park has nice paved walking trails through pretty oak trees, a play ground, a flat grass area for sports, and its across the street from the beach on lake johanna. Its a great place to take kids, walk dogs, or ride a bike. Personally I wish it had longer walking trail routes, but it is a regional park and not a state park so theres not enough land for long hikes.

This park is something to love, and although the trails are short, there is a beach and boat launch, or you can use the playground equipment and gazebos for a good party or family picnic. As most lakes are, the water isnt the cleanest so some days are not good to fish or go out on the lake.

We really like going here. This place is really big for the area. Plus theres so much people can do: boating, grilling, Frisbee/catch, walk/bike paths, sit and relax, etc. Its a good clean park.

Great little place to chill, and swim. Also has a nice playground for kids, swings, boat launch and several grills with picnic tables, even a pavilion for larger sheltered party area.

Meandering around these trails and its a surprising change of scenery .Great below and then the next turn has you winding around on what seems like your all by your self it peaceful.

I spend a lot of time down here for the last 12 years. Take my naps, eat lunch watch them fish. Good place to hang out, both winter and summer.

Rented a pavilion. Plenty of charcoal grill space. Picnic tables are in good shape. Outlets available for appliances.

Nice clean park. Lake nearby gets froze over in winter and algae blooms happen pretty often during warmer months.

Great beach with playgrounds a an enormous upper area where you can walk and bike and enjoy the outdoors.
