A great place to spend a summer afternoon. Large pool, 2 kids pools, low and high dive, rock climbing wall in diving well, 2 huge water slides. Air conditioned recreation center with table games, basketball court and shuffle board. Volleyball court, tennis courts, outdoor basketball court. Boat Wells and loading ramp, a National Coney Island food shack, many pavilions and picnic tables, large playground for the kids. Locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and have separate changing rooms. The lifeguards at the pool are well trained and professional. Classes are offered over the summer from sports, to swim lessons, to crafts. This place has everything.

This is a beauty full park with lots of fun But unfortunately Im black and they treat us different the people who volunteer is horrible to their visitors this is not a public park you must live in gross pointe woods to have a park pass. And if you do have a park pass you have 15 points meaning you have 15 guess a year. This park is real nice but if you are black they do not want guy there after dark I love the park but the people who are running the park are horrible!!!

I was MISGUIDED by Google Maps to go this park, but couldnt enter. The lady in the gate showed me the exit, expressionlessly. How can a park be private?! It is not a park than, it should mark as members only club! Its a shame that you can not enjoy the Lake Saint Clairs beauty from that place, unless you are a Gross Poine Woods resident! Im sure that, city will not change their policy, so Google should change the listing of this place as private.

Too bad the main pool was filled to the brim with toddlers that should have been in the baby pool. Also, unfortunately most of the parents ARENT paying close attention to their own children, much less looking out for others. Too many unaware and distracted patrons. Thought we would have a more relaxing time, I guess I was wrong.

A great park on beautiful lake St Clair. Its unfortunate its 4 residents only. Im glad Im a resident. Be it private or public waterfront property, landowners continually limit access 2 resources that everyone should be entitled 2 enjoy. People put up fences so others cant see the lake! Thats selfish and ridiculous.

Good park with plenty to keep you busy. I kinda wish there was more to do around the water. Yes, I know theres a tiny boardwalk and two gazebos by the water, but certainly a "lake front" park should celebrate that part of it a little more, no?

The park has a large pool with slide. There is a separate pool for the little ones. Tennis courts, Marina, walking paths along Lake St. Claire, large playground and recreation center. Lots of places to barbeque.

Great clean city park, but only for card carrying Grosse Pointe Woods citizens. Great pool with water slide. Great tennis courts. Good walking path with nice outdoor exercise equipment. Marina. Fishing.

Theres a young boy that works here named Jacob. Hes not much for work ethic but his voice could make Zeus himself blush. When he yells "no running by the pool!" It makes my body tremble.

Great pools, playgrounds, tennis courts, indoor basketball and fitness center, boat launch and docks, etc. For GPW residents and guests only, thats why it only gets 4 of 5 stars.

Not a public park its a country club. There is no way that visitors can come and visit. Guy patrolling the entrance was very unfriendly. Disappointing.

Its a country club... not a public park. Does everything to keep outsiders out. No way to get a guess pass unless you stay 100 miles away. NOT INCLUSIVE

You have to be a Grosse Pointe Woods resident to get in (or be with one). I move into the woods in part due to this park. It is an excellent facility.
