For bicycling on the Pinellas trail, this is a great place to park and hit the trail. They do close and lock the gates around sunset, so plan accordingly. There is a bike repair station where the park entrance to Pinellas trail is. Bathrooms and free parking are here. If not hitting the Pinellas trail, there are a couple playgrounds, pavilions and baseball field. Watch yourself on the far end (west side) as it is flying disk zone.

Taylor Park is a local favorite for church gatherings and birthday parties. The park is well kept with several parking areas. There is a small lake in the center making it great for gator watching. If you are looking for a nice place to exercise, the path around the lake is a little over a mile. It has something for everyone from picnics, fishing, gator watching, playgrounds and Frisbee Golf.

This park is amazing...just Go! The bridge over the sliver of an island has a picnic table on it with a bit of shade to share. Dont see the alligators near here yet. The rest of the trail area is great. They have even carved out a preservation area for turtles. There is so much more you will discover each time...long wooded timbers lining the lake make for great pix.

Great park - walking trail around the scenic lake, boat launch (trolling motors only), playgrounds, picnic areas, disc golf course, small ball field, fitness trail, multiple picnic shelters and charcoal grills. Accessed by Pinellas Trail also. Lots of wildlife to see - ducks, birds, turtles, fish and GATORS - be careful! I live near this park and visit frequently.

Disgusting experience. The entire shoreline is awash in garbage. How hard would it be to put a boat in there and have a couple of employees scoop out all the floating trash. And boo to the area people who are using the lake as some kind of trash bin. You people should be ashamed of yourselves its a beautiful lake and park otherwise.

If youre a rock climber there is a "boulder" at the park where there is a v3 (on north end with a low crimp start, topping out), v2 (south end, jug into crimps, topping out), and a v2 (traverse across the whole boulder), a long with many others if youre creative enough! #floridabouldering haha

A childhood favorite of mine and I still love Taylor Park for its pleasant walking and biking trail, shady pine trees, playgrounds, picnic areas, clean restrooms and a scenic lake with a variety of shorebirds and even some gators. If you play Frisbee Golf, theres a course here, too.

One of my favorite parks! The trees offer plenty of shade on a hot sunny Florida day. The water and its proximity to the Gulf ensure nice breezes, too. The shelters are roomy and the picnic tables are well maintained. The kids enjoyed tha play area, too. Great place for families!

It is a good place to walk dogs or go on jogs/hikes/runs/walks all while being able to look out at the water. It is also a great place to grill outdoors and contains many shelters. In addition, the park has an outdoor playground and is very kid-friendly.

Great for Pokémon Go. Its filled with numerous Pokéstops and has a wide variety of Pokémon to catch. Also you can get your exercise while trying to catch them all.
