This was my first time to the Dow, at first I thought it was great didnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. I was home from work for a few days so I bought last minute tickets online and paid alot of money for them to be up front in the GA Pits. The 2 openers had already played and the headliner was about to come out. Keep in mind we are in the PITS, this is were the night turned bad. The people in front of us backed into one of the guys I was with bumping him back into some people behind us who extremely over reacted even after an apology and went and got security guards. Just before the security guard approaches the ladys boyfriend pushes my buddy which gets him worked up, the guards come to investigate and end up kicking us all out for "running our mouths" and the hear say of the lady and her boy friend, basically we got kicked out based on the random claims of 2 drunken people. NO intentional physical contact was made on my parties part what so ever we were all just trying to enjoy ourselves. So the guards escort us to the front were they lead us to believe we wont have to sit outside, whoa did I think wrong. It was 30 degrees outside and all we had was t-shirts on, the guards passed us on to saginaws finest who said and i quote "we dont give a F*** how cold it is outside or were you go just get off the property" and continued to treat us like the rest of the trash wondering around that city for reasons that they had no idea. So we sat outside and waited for the concert to end and the rest of our group to come outside to go home. I will NEVER go to the Dow again, absolute joke!!

The Dow Event Center ROCKS! I am so glad that it is here in Saginaw, MI! Every time I go there for an event, all of the employees are willing to help me when and if needed. I feel safe there as well. Keep up the GREAT WORK guys (warm smile) I appreciate all of the "BIG TICKET" events youve brought to our city. Thank you for thinking of us, thank you for introducing a variety of creativity to us.

Been here for more than hockey. (I was here for the circus once...) Vending machines are always stocked (though a tad over priced) and the place is always running smooth. The only drawback is the staff at the concession stands are usually slow, at best. This never seems to be the case when you go to the nacho/dippin dots/roasted nuts/etc... stands and kiosks. Only at the concession stands.

A lot of the revitalization of downtown Saginaw can be contributed to the Dow Event Center. It really is a great place, bringing larger acts to the Great Lakes Bay Region, along with a hockey team for Saginaw to call its own. The downside is that its expensive for tickets, and buying in person is no longer an option, so you get hit with box office up charges.

There is absolutely NO reason to sit for over 40 minutes in this parking ramp before you move!! If your going to profit from the events you need to pay for traffic enforcement!! To not pay Saginaw Police to navigate traffic is ridiculous. Never again will I come to an event here this is absolutely stupid!!! POOR MANAGEMENT!!!

I just had my purse and tote bag searched for FOOD as I entered the venue for a Pom competition. I have never had my personal belongings searched for food. I guess they wanted to make sure we bought an overpriced snack at their concessions. Not impressed.

Was here for a concert. very comfortable with good views of the concert no matter where your seat. even the back corners are close enough you can still get a good view. Drinks are very expensive, I think it was $9 for a 16oz beer.

Small... Tooo small for a monster truck show. If you want to see a monster truck show go somewhere else. Otherwise the rest of the building looked nice and had surprisingly clean restrooms for the number of people visiting.

Have to go watch the Spirits play there. They have a lot of fun things like shirt tosses and games going on during the intermissions. Special events for the games are awesome. Even the kids like it there,.

Went there for the Remain Loyal to Jehovah convention held by Jehovahs Witnesses. Everyone was super friendly. The place was clean, the parking was convenient, and the air conditioning is freezing cold.

It was a great event although the seating was not as advertised. The usher was not helpful either. First time we had any issues there. Normally a great place tho attend events. Very safe.

Came to see a play. It was a lil stuffy but I run hot so its hard to judge it by that. Wouldve appreciated a fan. Very nice facility though. I see myself coming back for another event.

The dow event center is the place to see the Saginaw Spirit Hockey team, to concerts and monster truck shows. With great prices and great events, its a great place to have a night out.

We have been to several hockey games here. It is a nice venue with a great family atmosphere. They have a number of good food and drink kiosks, and the eagle mascot is lots of fun.

Always a fun lively place to watch hockey games, music concerts and other events. Parking is usually easily accessible and its easy and quick to get out without traffic backups.

The bathrooms need some kind of ventilation system. Most of the seats need to be updated to something more comfortable, especially on the main floor.

It was a surprisingly decent place to hold a venue. My only concern was there appear to be chances of overbooking for there isnt much of space.

Im one of Jehovahs Witnesses, & we have our Christian Convention there, I enjoy going there. I guess they also have many other events there.

With a few exceptions staff was very rude. It is unfortunate because we refused to use concession stand after extremely rude service!
