What a perfect venue for my wedding last summer. I fell in love with gem as soon as I stepped foot in the door for my tour. The building is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out with so many unique details. Even the bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous. I loved that we had the whole building to ourselves for my wedding day. The gem accommodated by idea to have the ceremony on the stage in the theater and then dinner downstairs and then back up to the theater for after dinner dancing. We have had so many compliments from guests on how fantastic the whole wedding experience was. Another plus was that the gem is so beautiful you dont miss being outside. It absolutely poured all day on our wedding day (which Im choosing to believe is a good omen) and therefore we had to stay inside all day even for cocktail hour and yet I have to say that as soon as I got inside the gem I did not once lament the poor weather. Most of the guests that I have talked to about my wedding did not even remember that it was raining because it was just so beautiful inside. I seriously had such an incredible and perfect wedding day and I know that a large part of that was due to having such an awesome venue.

My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception at the Gem Theater last weekend. This was built in 1927 and is an awesome venue for weddings and receptions. The food was excellent, the service was great and being there takes you back to the roaring 20s and 30s. Beautiful solid oak wood throughout with 2 bars, a fireplace and air conditioning. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location! People apparently also will have their wedding and or wedding reception here. Not cheap at all! I hear the lowest you will pay will be around 15k. If you can afford it it seems like it would be awesome. The staff was very friendly especially the doorman. The food was okay but we had a pretty simple menu. I would love to come again sometime.

Came here for a wedding. The basement room is kind of stuffy and lamo but the theatre is beautiful and feels very authentic. The first story hall is nice as well. Lots of friendly staff around too

Awesome venue. They are no longer going actual theatrical productions, but have become one of the premier social and wedding event venues. Terrific staff, delicious food and great ambiance!

Went to my cousins wedding reception here and it was amazing. The food was fantastic and the waiters were awesome. And the building itself, inside and out is beautiful and historic.
