WOW! We just saw "Bram Stokers Dracula" Saturday night and it was AMAZING! I mean, the cast was INCREDIBLE. The set was beautiful and they had lots of exciting special effects. Also, the theater is very intimate; no bad seats! This was our first Hillberry Theater experience and we will be going often. This is a must see-- a fantastic family outing (we took our two kids) and we just all thought it was fantastic treat for Halloween Season. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend!

This beautiful historic building is one of the three theaters at Wayne State University. The architecture is beautiful, with stately Roman columns reminding visitors of its previous life as a church. I find this interesting, as the other university theater used to be a synagogue. The plays here are good, and a great value for the ticket price. I wish they allowed travelling companies to perform as the selection is limited.

I got season tickets for the Hilberry Theater and my first show was You Cant Take It With You. I thought that the story was compelling, the acting was engaging, there was a larger than expected cast and the extra extras made for a better story, and finally as a season member there is free popcorn and coffee! I am looking forward to the next show.

Shakespeare "Twelfth Night": A high energy, fun filled performance, with a cast that knew their lines well and could focus on adding the extra touches that keep you entertained during the premier of "Twelfth Night" at Wayne State Universitys Hilberry Theatre. A must see sword fight, Delightful!
