Great course thats worth playing. I was pleasantly surprised at how great of a golf course it was for being municipal. Fun layout for players of all skill levels with great views. I disagree entirely with a prior review regarding staff and accommodations for children and women. The staff was very friendly and gave my girlfriend (first time golfer) information on lessons provided by the city of Ann Arbor.

I was on vacation in Ann Arbor and decided to play golf at Leslie Park. I liked it so much, I played again the next day. The course was beautiful - fairways and greens in great condition. Its ranked as one of the best municipal courses in America. Best of all, it is very reasonably priced - I played nine holes, with cart and rented clubs and paid just a bit over $30. Wow, what a great deal.

Nice course , nice layout but if you are new to golf or with someone who needs help like a child its not the place for you. The expectation is that 18 holes are played in 4.5 hours so if you need more that 15 minutes a hole you will have the course ranger riding your tail that you are holding up play. They seem to be tailored to the frequent player or retiree who plays frequently

Good, interesting course (4 Stars), but not a place or environment to take children learning to play golf (0 Stars). Needs better course management and repair. Staff is unprofessional, nasty and is generally confused about the fact that this in fact a tax payer supported course. Not a place for female golfers, children or family.

Excellent price for one of the best public courses I have ever played. On top of that, the greens and fairways are incredibly well maintained. Good course for both beginners and advanced golfers. What LPGC lacks in challenge in terms of distance, it makes up for in tough greens and narrow fairways.

Been playing Leslie course since the 80s. Have always loved it. Very challenging. Have seen many course changes over the years But the biggest change recently is the very friendly staff, they have definitely exceeded all expectations . Keep up the great job. Will be back soon. Steve

I cant say enough good things about this course. There are so many holes where youre convinced youre playing Up North. A very challenging track with some great views. Course is always in great shape, and for what you pay, I think its the best golfing deal in Michigan.

Beautiful public course that I have the luxury of living near. If youre new to the area, make this one of the first courses you play- itll set the tone for golfing in Michigan. It can get a bit crowded at times, but thats to be expected.

Great course! Its not too difficult to drive the fairways, but the greens are tricky. They like to cut the holes on little mounds and usually at the edge of the greens. Suffice to say, very challenging and a lot of fun to play.

Dont let any nay sayer discourage you from playing. This is a challenging course for GOLFERS. Great layout. Its not a private club nor a resort course. It is one of the best munies youll ever play
