Played a round on August 8th, 2017 with 3 of my friends. The first 2 holes on the front and back nine are "Cart Path Only" with several more that are scattered throughout the course. The carts have GPS on them, but youll have to estimate the yardage and bring a few different clubs with you if, youre playing a "cart path only" hole and your ball ends up 60 yards parallel to your golf cart parked on the path. Kind of defeats the purpose of having GPS, but the bigger problem is the "Cart Path Only" really slows the play down. We had a group of 4 in front of us that on these holes, their tee or 2nd shots would end up a good distance from the cart path (happened to us too) We were backed up for the entire round, which made for a very long round and day. All of us love the course and would love to play it more often but, only if the golf carts were used for every hole and not just half of the course. I know some guys that are pretty good golfers, despite having a knee or back problem, but they wont play here for this very reason so, the course loses out on their money. I gave the course 3 stars because of the slow play and too many cart path only holes. Other than this, the course is beautiful.

Well kept course, but I will concur with most of these reviews. The course is horribly ran. I called ahead and made a team time for myself. I play solo quite often after work. I even asked while I was on the phone if it was ok, since some courses dont allow singles. When I arrived I was told I was being paired up with a twosome. After some arguing I agreed to play with the other two. Before the 2nd hole, these two were doing coke and smoking pot between every shot pretty much. No ranger, called the club house to no answer, and pretty much suffered through the first 7-8 holes with these guys. They then wanted beer so they actually drove off the hole we were on to go find the beer cart. I didnt wait, I played ahead and finished the round by myself. Didnt matter because there was no ranger to be seen. I golf all over Michigan at some of the nicest courses in the state...this has the potential to be one, but someone over there needs to get their head out of their ass.

First, the course is beautiful and very scenic. Greens are a bit slow but very challenging. Fairways are pristine. I am a far from a hacker and love to walk as opposed to being forced to ride and this course cant be walked; distance from green to next tee are way too far. Though loving to walk, you cant drive a cart in the fairways which means you have to take 3-4 clubs with you from the cart to sometimes an opposite location where it may be hard to judge if you have a clean shot to the green. And if you are like most golfers, even those 3-4 clubs may be the wrong ones. Never a good thing as it is too easy to leave a club somewhere. And for Gods sakes either put a ball/club washer on the cart or put more ball washers on each hole. Some are non-existent. As someone wrote earlier, the lawyers/insurance companies have screwed this place up pretty badly which is a pity. Therefore, I wont be back again.

Definitely the worst experience this year golfing. Witnessed 4 people sharing 2 sets of clubs and three groups in front of us was a group of 5. Three people in one cart. Even heard two other groups yelling threats at each other. No doubt their frustration level was as high as ours. We waited 5 minutes before every shot. Complained to the pro shop and a ranger came out three holes later. And not to apologize, but argue and make excuses. His final words to me were to hit into the group in front of us if I didnt want to wait. And he drove off. $68 for 18 holes, I expect so much better service. Sad thing is that the course itself is quite nice. But the way it is run, we will never go back. The only complaint about the actual course, I would guess that 3/4 of the holes are no carts. So be prepared to walk a lot (even though you paid for a cart), unless you can land all your shots near the cart path.

My husband and I were in the middle of eating our lunch when a worker from eradico extermination walked into the dining area at 1:45pm on Sat 6/25/16 and started spraying along the wall where it met the floor only 4 feet from our table. He started by us where we were sitting eating our food and continued spraying down the wall to the corner and then along the windows overlooking the golf course. We complained to the event coordinator and we expressed our concern and ask what they just sprayed and she informed us she would not know what was sprayed until he wrote up the work order. She never returned to our table so we did not finish our food or drink we paid (since we did not want to short our server Jordon because she did a great job) and then we left shocked that the restaurant would let the guy from eradico spray while there was food being eaten in the restaurant.

The grille offers a Sunday brunch at $15 a person, so I made reservations for today. We arrived, had brunch which was good, until they gave me the check which totaled over $100 for three people (we drank coffee and tea) Their website stills says $15 per person. They charged us 230% of the advertised price. Thats why the place was mostly empty!!! The waitress would do nothing to compromise on the bill. When we asked to see the manager, she said he was out of the country on vacation. Showed her the advertised price on their website, and the response was "oh that doesnt count on easter" Website does not have an Easter price, just a Sunday brunch price. I cant believe there was no manager present at this place. Bait and switch. We reluctantly paid, but will never return.

I liked the course but their player expectations are a little high. They want you to play fast but they rope off almost every hole so you cant drive a cart to your ball. On the 15th, for example, I hit my drive to the right side of the fairway as suggested, but then I had to walk almost 100 yards to it from the roped off cart path and had to carry three clubs with me since I had no idea which one I would need. I dont mind walking, but when all four of us need to keep walking back and forth to the carts to get clubs, it takes a while. I never understood why some courses rope off their holes. I mean, the mowers drive on them, right? This course had some roped off and some not, so not sure why. Anyway, nice course and that was my only complaint

This was our first visit here, and as it turned out, also our last. Obviously my husband and I were less than impressed. We chose the deck to get away from the other diners and their unruly children and within minutes of being seated at our outdoor table those same children came running out - unaccompanied - and proceeded to play with their remote control car. When we placed our orders my husband asked for a lemon water with no ice, and the waitress brought him water with ice. I requested a BLT without their standard avocado and weird sauce (just your plain, ordinary BLT), and I ended up with both avocado and weird sauce on it. Never again!!
