I saw Dr. Strange with my friends. I had an enjoyable time, the quality of the movie screen was great, the seats were confortable but the one downside of going here is the prices are way too high. Yes I know that movie thearters are all over priced but selling a box of candy for $4.25 is over priced. I would go to this thearter more often if the food was cheaper. I came with $30 and left with $4 only buying one ticket, one box of candy, medium popcorn, and a large ICEE. Besides being very overpriced I would recomend this thearter to anyone who is not afraid of losing money.

Last night my 12 year old grandson walked off with his popcorn but failed to wait for the change from the 10 dollar bill I gave him. We decided to wait until after the movie to go see if they would believe us. I did not have high hopes. But low and behold, it was waiting for us, carefully put aside. In this day and age of lack of honesty among so many people I was amazed!!! Little things like this speak volumes about a person and a place. Also, very clean, polite and well organized theater. Most highly recommended!!

The theater recently jacked up their ticket prices to $10.50 for an evening ticket. This seems excessive considering the fact that the theater shows numerous ads before the previews which is really annoying. Be prepared to watch 10 minutes of ads even though you left home to get away from this sort of thing. This guy must be raking in a bundle doing this but still charges a fortune for tickets. I will go to Blue Back Sq. or Plainville, not watch commercials and enjoy a nice theater.

Do NOT go on Friday and Saturday nights. It is full of teenagers talking, laughing and being noisy. The rest of the time, people have no sense of behaving in a social environment. They answer their phones and start talking during the movie, or use their phone during the WHOLE movie - texting or surfing the web - which is a big disctraction for people who paid good money trying to enjoy the movie. This is not as bad in other theaters. In my experience, Simsbury Hoyts is the worse.

Expensive, as most theaters are. (*TIP: if you go down the road to Big Y, you can purchase movie flyers at their customer service desk, save around $3) concessions are good and service is good! Seats are comfy and spaced enough. Almost always Super clean. Offers pretty good times and showings.

Good local movie theater- Could upgrade their seats but overall pretty decent local movie theater. Get their Groupon they offer at times- 13 bucks, includes a ticket, large popcorn and large drink..Great deal.

Theatre is getting run down. It needs an update. Carpeting is worn, seats have some tears, smells funny sometimes. Its not my first choice anymore even though its closest for me.

A good selection of movies and modern theaters. Concession stuff is quite expensive. Plenty of parking in front of theater. Places to eat nearby - chillis, Luna pizza, bertuccis.
