Ive been using this park for over 9 years. Its beautiful, historic and usually peaceful. Unfortunately it seems to have been discovered and in good weather is often inhabited by multiple groups, couples and sunbathing locals. Not the end of the world but it ruins the previous illusion of an oasis in a city. Two years ago there was an amazing food truck festival once a week. Despite my previous issue with overuse, this festival was a gem. It was good food that brought out the locals, college students and new families to mingle, bond and enjoy the wonderful evenings. When visiting this park keep an eye out for small plaques, signs and info about the site, its history and even on the trees.

5 stars for what it is: a tree filled park near busy Davis square centered around a revolutionary era powerhouse. The park is mostly a rocky hill with many trees, grass on top and most of the sloping side. One side is bare and rocky with a small slide tucked among the rocks. Many benches line the surrounding walkways. Good for urban escape, picnics and activities that dont require a lot of flat space.

Nathans park is a strange little thing in Somerville. Its partly up a rock-cropping, on one side it has some fun sections with a small slide for children and clearly meant to be climbed up on and around. On the other there is a steep path and some steps that go under vine-entwined awnings. This is the perfect place to take your kids to pretend youre all in a fantasy world, where anything could happen.

Lovely little park with paved footpaths. Be sure to head to the top of the hill to see the old mill/gunpowder tower that gave Powderhouse its name. Take the time to explore the whole park--there are a lot of small plaques, statues, and sculptures with quirky details of the parks history.

Just a beautiful park. Theres a friendly cat nearby and I will literally walk her over to the park and play with her for an hour. It sounds sad until you realize that Im surrounded by people playing Pokemon alone.

This was a nice small park commemorating Nathan Tufts. The park is a bit of a hill and has interesting history. Take a nice stroll and see the historic sites.

Nice that its there, but a poor excuse for a "park". Glass-strewn in places, beside the busy traffic circle.

Surprisingly woodsy for the location. Nice park to relax in, lots of pokemon too.
