Bostons largest park, it includes some great playgrounds and green spaces, but also old creepy bear cages that are unsafe and were supposed to have been taken down to stone a decade ago. In general, the park is nice, but it isnt as well maintained as parks in Bostons more white and gentrified neighborhoods.

Its honestly amazing how interesting the terrain and hiking trails are in this urban park. Youll find all the standard park things, but you can also find surprising seclusion for a short walk even on a busy day. I knocked off a star because some areas have been badly abused and littered.

My father brought me here as a child I brought my children here when they were young , whom brought their children to the zoo and now my great grand are enjoying this beautiful historical park ..all types of events are held here most of the summer months !

I am always at Franklin Park I still to go to the zoo I still walk the track bicycle and I do cut through this the park to go to Forest Hills train station catching the bus 16 I love the ride through the park

I love how its like an oasis right next door to the city. You hear both forest creatures and street noises. If youre lucky, you can spot some interesting types of animals.
