Destare is a great cocktail bar that offers a small food selection from Chaibo. The bartenders are quick and they can make a huge variety of drinks. In addition to cocktails, they offer craft beers and other domestic draughts. They are open late, and they have different events, such as Jazz night, salsa night, and other DJ nights. It is a warm and inviting establishment, and they offer private spaces to rent. I recently attended a work holiday party there, and the back room space was perfect for our group of about 30-40 people.

Went to this place when it opened, out standing at that time. Visited it a couple of weeks ago it looks like a dump. Especially the restrooms. Lamp shades falling off, chandeliers broken and burnt out light bulbs. What topped the cake was one of the owners was at the bar repromanding the bar maid in front of the patrons. Not kosha in the business world...... : (

Used to be the place to go, since they have changed management the place has gone significantly down hill! Menu has changed from outstanding martinis to cheap liquor, DJ always the same, the place has a run down look and feel , and the upscale atmosphere is now closer to a dive. Definitely not the place it used to be!

For a nice bar/club with a good sound system, they sure have awful djs, at least the two times I have been. Tonight (Friday) they have a local wedding dj that just plain SUCKS! Bad music, not mixing at all...blech!! Get some good djs that actually mix good music and I would come back...otherwise I wouldnt bother.

Gotta say, the straws that you stir your drink with are smarter than the waitstaff. You're better off buying a bottle of ruby red absolute vodka turning on your home stereo and ordering some take out! In other words,STAY HOME!!!!!!

The bartender, Gino, really knew his stuff. He carried an engaging conversation and never made me feel neglected when dealing with other patrons. Its so nice to see Fitchburg making a comeback. I look forward to my next visit.

I wouldnt want to go anywhere else. They really know what they are doing and make it personable during the afternoon times. The night times they keep it running you happy and a live atmosphere. My go to place

Lacks variety of music for a night club, watered down drinks,poor service. You are better off staying home and picking a playlist from youtube.

The backroom smells like mildew. The drinks are watered down and the overall atmosphere is ridiculous. Too cliquey and snobby.
