If there was a sixth star it would be filled. This is the oldest Marketplace in the country and for the most part is unchanged. Walk the same streets where this countrys freedom was established over three hundred years ago. If youd like to sit down at the oldest bar in the country you can stop at the bell in hand where the Declaration of Independence was first proposed. At the time it was the green dragon. Or for a bit of nostalgia feel free to grab a beer and propose a cheers at cheers where one of the funniest sitcoms was decided. Fanuel Hall is all about a warm smile and thats how cheers was filmed in Boston. The warm smile and the tall tales of Eddie Doyle at cheers, formerly a different bar made history here. Minutes from the North End, the aquarium, multiple public transportation Outlets and an enormous array of shops and restaurants this is a historic requirement for any traveler or local. If you get bored of the shopping and the food you can even hop on the back of a horse-drawn carriage and see the sights of the city and Marketplace that helped make this country what it is today. Boston is forever changing every second of every day but they have done a phenomenal job preserving the history of Fanueil Hall. Close your eyes and remember three hundred years ago and open them and the only thing that has changed are the shops, the clothing, the people wearing them and the times.

I remember once ago long time ago in Boston Massachusetts Samuel Hall I took a photograph black and white one of this young lady who looked from Europe to be Sweden or Swedish or whatever taking care of a child in a stroller I took it in a way that it was inconspicuous and when I finally process the photograph it came out perfectly with the young girl and her face dealing with her young son or child or even a babysitter with a child. She look like she was from Switzerland or somewhere in Europe. She never knew that I took this photograph so it was never meant for publication. When I took the photograph in the camera and process it and my instructor saw it for the first time, he said this picture is perfect you need to method on a back of a cardboard or some kind to make it look like a picture frame and we will place it where the show is going to show off your picture this may win an award it may not but it may end it this second prize. Thats what has been on my mind for years and years and I wish I had my hands on it but it seems to have been lost in the years that I had left behind in Boston Massachusetts or Lexington Massachusetts. Since then Ive had many girlfriends Amanda Leslie Lisa Christina Sarah and Michelle these young ladies were cashiers and at the age of between 15 to 19 they had dated me and we always ended up. if I continue that would be telling.

First off is the obvious Historical reasons that the College & High School Kids forget all about when they head straight for the drinking choices but*** FROM THE VOICE OF NOT SO ANCIENT EXPERIENCE*** (WHOS FOUND TONS OF COOL TINY PLACES) I can stop yelling now right? Everything can be done on foot because everywhereyou turn theres either a train or 12 different buses!!! All you need to do is download 1 of the wheres my bus apps & use GOOGLE MAPS & YOUR GOLDEN!!! Some of my best adventures started by getting lost in that area & stumbling on//into a little out of the way hidden gem !! Worst case scenario oh my you end up going the wrong way its Summer in Boston & youve ended up in the North End for a Yummy Homemade Italian Dessert -Im not talking the ones in the display case Im talking about the delicious Family Secret Recipes walking down those same lovely Historical Brick sidewalks that Paul Revere, John Quincy Adams, & Our Founding Fathers walked (and puked on too

One of the larger tourist destinations in Boston. Faneuil Hall itself is a beautiful building from the outside. The inside of the building is a long food court, with limited seating in the center. There are knick-knack shops along the sides of the building, and lots of outdoor seating in the area. Bathrooms are on the lower level, accessible only by going outside the building and looking for the stairs down. Theres a much cleaner bathroom downstairs in the museum shop at the west end of the plaza. Down sides: the food court can get very very crowded. The food vendors are not very polite and the food is, overall, poor quality and highly priced. If youre looking for historic buildings to explore, walk over to Beacon Hill and get lost in the neighborhood. If you want a nice lunch, head over to the North End for Italian, or to the Back Bay for upscale eating, or to the up-and-coming Fort Point Channel area.

Be prepared for lots of tourists...this is a hub. This area used to be fun at night- lots of bars, restaurants. But lately, the bars have questionable live bands, there are unreasonably long lines for unknown reasons, and the crowds lack personality. There are a couple of cute boutique stores tucked in that are worth checking out. Other things to check out are the farmer and artist markets on the Greenway, the fun carousel and the Cookie Monstah food truck. The Black Rose delivers a somewhat authentic Irish experience and the Hong Kong has $1 chicken teriyaki on a stick for late nights. Sissy Ks and Ned Devines will give you plenty of sticky floors, sweaty guys, and tight spaces for dancing. Actually enjoyed Mija on a Saturday night for a good DJ, but little to no dance space and a sparse crowd.

I bought tickets ahead of time to visit the Lego exhibition. My timed tickets were for 11:30 am and when I got to the venue I expected to be let in at 11:30. I presented my tickets(I had my 5 year old grandson with me) and was told to go to the end of the line - a very long one. When we finally were admitted to the exhibition it was 12:15. What, I must ask, is the point of planning ones day around an 11:30 event to have to wait 45 minutes(standing) to see it? What is the point of having timed entries? I asked the staff and was told that only 30-35 people were allowed in at one time. Why then dont they only sell that many tickets for each time segment. Something is wrong with the system. The show was great but the inefficient entry process was annoying.

Well run tourist destination. You can find local flavor if you look hard. This pedestrian mall is one of Bostons top tourist attractions, but it can be tough to find actual local Boston flavor. There are some good restaurants and many national chains. With the completion of the Big Dig its now an easy and pleasant walk to The North End (Bostons Little Italy), the Boston Aquarium, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. One of the highlights of Faneuil hall are the many street performers busking. There are musicians, magicians, living statues, and other artists performing. Theres also a BosTix booth to get discounted tickets to local Boston theatrical performances. Parking is very very difficult. You should bike, walk, or take the T.
