Great for anyone who likes to learn and not just be entertained. This is a fantastic place to challenge a childs mind and yours too. This a great place to actually interact with your child instead of just walking with them from shiny object to shiny object. So many well thought out exhibits and fun things to do! Theres even great stuff outside. Basically, its just really cool. Also, I was impressed with their healthy snacks and obvious but not obnoxious commitment to the Earth. One more thing-Your (Boston or other, see mos dot org) Museum of Science membership gets you in free. I

I agree with another reviewer that this place is great for younger kids. That being said, it is really great for younger kids. Live animal experiences, giant dino statues and my granddaughters favorite, the bee tube. We had trouble pulling her away from watching those bees fly in and out. A great all day experience for her and for me. I got some great up close photos of the raptors that they are rehabilitating and caring for. Its in Wocester, so not as crowded as Boston Science Museum or Aquarium.

Adult night at the EcoTarium last week was great summer fun! (June 16). A great idea to get Millennials as well as older folks out after work for a social evening in a great place to unwind after a long work day. Had the opportunity to play like a kid and just chill. Also great idea to get local college communities to visit for these adult nights, especially international students stuck here over the summer. Great to show them fun things to do in Worcester. Should do more of these events!!!

Had a ton of fun with our kids and another family. Really enjoyed the bubble activity. Sad we missed the Tree Canopy walk--they ran out of tickets, so make sure you get yours on the first chance at the Main building entrance (top floor). The museum is small, but packed with unique and fun activities and exhibits here in comparison to other museums, like the hurricane simulator, the "Amazingly Immature" section, etc. Train ride is just OK, though.

Great place for the kids on a nice day as there are some lovely, simple trails around the grounds. Lots of birds and other animals to see and great selection of interactive exhibits inside. A lovely party ground out side too. There is a couple of cafes up eat at but a nice place to bring a picnic. The tree top walk and train rides werent open on our visit but they did look impressive. There is also plenty of parking.

The recent Pi event was excellent. We did not encounter the confusion, exaggerated marketing, crowding and running out of give aways that we have experienced at other events in the past 3 years. Kudos! Very disappointed that the train has been out of service for so long. Ive never seen the outdoor café open. Overall I would be very pleased if we would get what they advertise, but we dont.

Very impressed with this place. Just went with my son for the first time... My mom purchased a family membership. It is very thoughtfully designed, and there is so much to do and see! I love that they really considered what would be most fun, interesting, and educational for kids. Seems most appropriate for children 3-10. Like a mix between a small zoo, playground and science museum. Awesome!

Really fun and interactive place for the kids. My 4 year old loves the large wood blocks which he can build a house with, and the bubble maker, who doesnt like large bubble :) Also, my brother in law bought the membership so two families can go with no extra cost. We havent explored everything yet, so well be back.

This meusem is great for school age children. There was a small section for my toddler and the outdoor area entertained her, but overall my older boys (5&8) had a great time. This meseum is part of the Boston Meusem of Science group, so you can use your memberships to get into either place.

Great place for the kids. They have a good variety of interactive exhibits for all age groups. There are places to climb on the walls, see animals, and learn about science. There is also a really nice outdoor area with bubble activities, a playscape, costumes, and even arts and crafts.

We got a membership here for Christmas, and our daughter (2 years old) absolutely loves coming here. There are so many activities for her to play, with and all of them educational. She loves that there are lots of animals for her to see her too, her favorite is the river otter.

Not happy with birthday party experience. I was not happy with the birthday at the Ecotarium. The party package was supposed to have two activities and they only have one, and they had plenty of time for the 2 activities but they didn’t do it.

excellent nature and science center. Lots of space out side and a path aroudn the lake that is really quite quiet for its location, a small train, playground equipment, nice variety if local rescue animals, and a full science center inside.

Great place to visit with kids, wide variety of informational topics, lots of interactive exhibits. Sunday hours are a bit short, and there isnt much more than a days visit of activities, so not a visit that is too frequently repeatable.

Fantastic science museum with lots of displays indoors and out. Along with many animal enclosures. They also have some awesome overnight (sleep at the museum) activities including telescopes, planetarium and multiple shows.

Its a very nice place. We enjoyed do the walk around the lake. Childrens loved the bubble place :-) The movie about Flying monsters was amazing. The only regret is that the chairs at the planetarium are not very comfortable

A little pricy to get in ($17), but a lot to do once youre there. Walking trails, fun learning exhibits, train and planetarium (cost a little extra), and some beautiful rescued animals. Be sure to visit the river otter!

Very nice kids science museum. We were travelling between Maine and Delaware and wanted to break up the trip with our little one. Weather was great. They have both indoor and outdoor exhibits. Wish we lived closer.

Love bringing the kids here to explore and be creative. The outdoor space is great to keep them busy for hours. This is our first year as a memeber and have already made our investment back. Definitely renewing again!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, creative and changing exhibits, and the best way to spend an afternoon with kids in Worcester. Plus, they have Star Wars and Harry Potter themed events. Whats not to love?
