Grass tee driving range! This is awesome and one of the few in the area. Im not able to rate 5 stars since I didnt play the course; however, I was very pleased to be able to practice on grass. It was a bit more than paying to hit balls at a plastic mat range; but the benefit of contact with dirt and grass is worth it. They have a huge practice green for putting with a separate practice area to work on chipping and bunker shots. Greg was working the desk today; he was pleasant, helped fit me for a glove and was on top of the weather conditions. Overall, great experience and I look forward to further outings to the driving range. Maybe when I get my swing together Ill play the course.

During the winter season, their rate is the same as the temperature of the course. They said they use AccuWeather. However, my smart phone showed 31 degree but theirs showed 35. I asked politely to refresh the computer screen but what the manager told me was "If you dont like it, I will give the money back. You can go somewhere else to play." He was very mean and rude. When I was speaking to my friends, I was not the only one. My friends had the same experience and the difference was 8 degree. It seems like they use the temperature of somewhere south instead of their course. Be careful they will get you and your friends whether you know the truth or not.

This is a challenging, but fair course. Its well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful. Despite the very recent aeration, the greens rolled well and pretty true. The clubhouse is attractive and large and the pro shop well stocked. Menu options in the grill are typical golf course fare, but nicely prepared and served by friendly wait staff. There are three good beers on tap. Waverly Woods is part of the Raspberry Golf Trail. Get yourself a Trail card for $5 and three rounds at different Trail courses earns a free round.

This course is Consistently one of the best upscale offerings in the Baltimore region. Of all the courses that charge similar rates, this one never EVER disappoints. We played this morning while they were top dressing the greens and youd never even notice by the speed and roll of the ball. Waverly Woods is always a great experience with a wonderful staff and the conditions are always top notch. One of my absolute favorite places to play in the Mid Atlantic region!

Had the opportunity to play here this past Friday. Even though they were top-dressing greens, the overall condition was good, and the general experience was well above average. Dont know if there has been a change of mission statement recently, but I truly enjoyed this 18 Holes of Golf!

This is a beautiful golf course. With membership, you can play free if you use your own pulling cart. During hot season, they provide fresh, ice-cold water to cool you down. Cool players make much better shots.

This place SUCKS. Rude staff, poor course conditions, bad food, everything. Highly recommend going to Fairway Hills or Timbers at Troy over this place.

I think Waverly Woods is the best public golf course in the Baltimore area. The course is well maintained and challenging but fair.
