This not to be intended to be directed at the Diamond Ridge staff. In the early 70s till the early 90s about 15 to 20 of us came out to the family park to drink beer & play horseshoes. We always cleaned up after ourselves. The staff always kept up with the place. Now , I dont know what animals hang out at the park but,I would hate to see their house. A lot of the ones I hung out with are gone for good. If they saw what this place looks like , they would roll over in their graves. At first when I saw the other side of the walk bridge , how unkept it was I got mad. When I got to the lake I saw why the place was like it was. PEOPLE DONT CARE FOR NATURE. They think mommies going to clean up after them. Well grow up assholes you are like animals when it comes to something nice. You wouldnt know a gift if it smacked you in the face. You plane old ruined the park with beer bottles , pizza boxes & weed bags all over the place. I might of been 16 out there in the 70s but I knew how to keep a good place clean. Kevin John Schell

Played here last weekend with one of my friends. Had a 7:35 tee time but had to wait until 8:35 due to a frost delay. Understandable due to the fact it was 17 degrees when we got there. Even with the very low temperatures, had a fantastic time. Even in the dead of winter greens, tee boxes, fairways and even bunkers all were in great shape. Fantastic course. Staff was super nice and lively even with the cold and lack of Patrons there. Well worth the money. I live in northern Virginia, Arlington so its a bit of a hike but again, totally worth it. Didnt realize that they had two courses here. Diamond ridge and woodlands. I will definitely be back.

Went out early on a Friday. I paid $40 w/ cart. Fairways looked spectacular and greens were well kept also. Pace was great. Took out a friend who was new to the game and the starter was understanding and gave a very professional and friendly reminder to keep pace without acting the jerk. "Weve all been there.", he said. Anyway, it was WAY better than most Bmore county courses which charge you almost the same to play on a more heavily played, lesser maintained course. And the Woodlands, their sister course, is even better and more challenging.

I play here once or twice a week. Typically in great shape. The layout uses the land perfectly on both courses. Every par-3 at DR is a unique challenge. The front nine is pretty wide open with significant elevation changes, while the back nine is flatter but tighter and longer. Holes 11-14 will test your power and accuracy. The sister course, The Woodlands, is entirely different. Lots of blind tee shots, rolling hills. Even the turf is different. This course is a real adventure, and quite impressive for a municipal.

Very nice, well maintained, friendly staffed and reasonably priced local course. The Woodlands is a bit more challenging but Diamond offers a great beginner to novice playing experience as well. I play at Diamond Ridge at least twice a month. I would definitely advise to try Diamond or Woodlands if you or someone you know is looking to golf in the Greater Baltimore area.

Great golf value for seniors living close to course. Always pleasant greeting and service in the pro shop. Friendly and considerate personnel out on the course. Greens, fairways, bunkers and rough are always in best possible condition permitted by season and weather. Keep up the good work!

I dont think the price is justified for what you get at the woodlands. To me some of the holes are what I describe as Mikey Mouse. The Woodlands charges the samw as Greystone and Greystone is a far superior Golf Course. Play Diamond ridge the price is far better than the Woodlands

I really enjoyed playing at Diamond Ridge. The course itself isnt extremely difficult, but some of the greens are very challenging. It was in great condition (especially for a ~$60 round), and the staff was very nice. Cant wait to get back out to try Woodlands.

I play Diamond Ridge and the Woodlands regularly, and find them to be in excellent condition. The recent heat and rain have played havoc with the fairways and traps. The staff is great, and the kitchen accommodations are exceptional.

Club House personnel were efficient and courteous, the course is in Great Shape and the crews are always out there improving. The restaurant has a good variety, and again, efficient and courteous personnel. Well done, keep it up!

Considering it was the beginning of March, the course was in really good shape. The only issue that I had was the goup in front of us started as a threesome and ended up as a fivesome.

Great course. Also has Woodlands there as well. Woodlands has better bunkers, but both are good courses. The par 3s are a little long, but makes it interesting.
