July 23rd, my wife and I drove 2 hours to play this course. Was it worth it, absolutely. What made it worth the trip. The course and the staff. As hot as the weather has been, the course was in above average condition. And can not say enough about the people we meet working there. From the 2 gentleman in the pro shop & to the marshal (Phil). They could not be any nicer and friendlier. We started out with nobody in front of us. However, by the 5th hole we caught up with a threesome and a foursome in front of them. At the turn, the marshal (Phil) noticed the backup and had the threesome tee off at the 12th and had us go off at the 13th. Told us to play 13 thru 18 and then play 10 thru 12. Now what a great concept to move the pace of play along. My hat off to Phil and the rest of the staff that just made our day all that more pleasant. Will we drive 2 hours to play here again. Yes, before the month is out..

Uncourteous and unaccommodating staff. Owner is very rude and unaccommodating . Went to play a fast game of golf and they would only let you golf in a group of four. (All strangers). Was shouted at by the owner "get out, we dont want you here anyway", who then continued to try to ridicule me because I was not willing to change my reservation. No refund of pre booked golfnow tee time which stated "1 player" was offered or given back. If you want to play solo, have your own cart or even a faster paced game of golf and be treated respectfully do not dare to go to this course! You probably will not receive any of the above! Nowhere on their website does it state that they will group you with strangers in their policies! If you have a disagreement the people here do not know how to operate a business, nor know how to treat people respectfully.

I normally dont write any reviews, but with this place I just couldnt help it. I love the game of golf as am sure all you do as well. So for me as long as Im on the golf course I consider that a good day. But this course has taught me that I can have my day ruined even when I am at a course. This is by far the rudest staff I have every dealt with not only at a golf course, but in any aspect where customers are dealt with. I would say never to go to this course because there is plenty of other courses in the area where you are treated like a person. I know I wont ever go to this course again, but Im sure they can care less, Im just one person. So lets spread the word if youve expirneced the same kind of lack of respect for the human race from the disrespectful staff.

This sophisticated pitch and putt is nestled in the countryside somewhere near Hummelstown. The course design came close to achieving a real golf course, but forgot to put sand in the grassy bunker cut out areas. I did however find a pile of sand in the parking lot where I parked my car... enough to fill in possibly one bunker. Could be the start of things?! If you are looking to play a real round of golf... This course is sure to send you home with a good laugh and wondering why the heck you drove all the way out there...

This is a great up and coming course in the Hershey area. The course is challenging enought for good golfers and enjoyable for amatures. The course is maturing and will be very challenging in three to five years becasue of the trees. The view of the contryside is marvelous. A treasure in the area.

What a great day we had! The staff is friendly the course is wide with big greens all in excellent shape. Great for the novice or the pro. My wife played her best ever and I`m sure it was the relaxed frame of mind this place puts you in. The flowering trees were magnificent and everywhere. Thank you Deer Valley!

I played there a few times since it opened in 05. The course has really matured since then and there are a lot more trees. Good views from some of the holes. Its a no-pressure kind of place, Id recommend it.

Great value for the money! Friendly staff and well maintained golf course. No sandtraps is somewhat of a negative - but overall course layout and difficulty is challenging to any recreational golfer.

Pound for Pound the best golf course in the area. Fairways and greens meticulously kept as if a Major was scheduled there in the future. Kudos to the owner and the Superintendent who runs the show.

Not a bad course but terrible customer service. Completely unaccommodating to non-league golfers. Impossible to get on during the week as they run leagues everyday with no room for single golfers.

Booked tee time online and they wouldnt honor it. Even gave my phone number with booking and they didnt have the decency to call to say they over booked. Awful management and customer service

Awesome course. Grass bunkers. Well maintained. On course ranger keeps play moving. Singles and doubles are paired up whenever possible.
