The course is pretty well nestled in the neighborhoods of Columbia, which makes for a very difficult course. The course is not friendly to people who are teeing it up there for the first time. There is no documentation on hole layout, not on the scorecards or at the tee box. With the amount of blind shots required throughout the 18, this course needs to document their holes. I had an Android GPS application available, and used it a few times, but I dont like to fumble around with a smart phone while I am trying to play. The pins are friendly to those with laser range finders, which is nice. The course itself was in pretty good shape for July and was very well manicured. My only complaint is the clientele, who apparently have no idea how to fix a ball mark on a green. Now that I know the course I expect the next round to be much more enjoyable and am looking forward to besting my previous round.

First Tee golf program for kids is super. The folks at Fairway Hills Golf Club have a truly spectacular program to get juniors into golf. My son is in the program and the experience has been wonderful. The coaches are very patient with the kids, the golf instruction is structured and the life skills coaching is a fantastic addition. For the cost; it really cant be beat. Currently its 75 dollars for 8 weeks of instruction with lessons lasting 1 and 1/2 hours. Great program! Highly recommend it for those looking to get their kids into golf.

I played here twice in the past month. Not bad course. For the price its well kept. I usually walk 9 holes..which is a task. Get a cart if u plan to do 18. The staff is cool. When booking make sure u call the shop. I booked thru golf now and she told me.that my 9 holes would be free because I was a member of CA.. wrong. Lol. Par 5 number 2 is good challenge

The starter and range officer were extremely annoying. My wife and I played a 5pm 9 hole round and the range officer followed us and watched over us the whole round. We had nobody in front or behind us so we were not disrupting the rate of play. His presence for our entire round was extremely distracting and we considered leaving after hole 3.

Staff was friendly The driving range drops down away from you and its small width gives you a good prep for the course itself. The course is beautiful with a nice array of scenery as you go through the course. Tees could use some attention and be prepared to lose a couple of balls on the back.

The layout was nice and the course was in good shape. Pace of play was horrible. The Marshall was out but was passive to the problem. He asked a few times "what would you like me to do?" Easy. Move the slow group up a hole or kick them off the course for slow pace. 5:20 round is not fun.
