We have taken our kids to the playground here many times, and enjoyed it each time. The ground is a firm rubber surface and the metal players are well maintained. There are activities for all ages, which is evident from the spectrum of kids who play there. Adults and kids are well mannered. There are seats along the perimeter of the playground, and a covered area for picnics/parties if you choose to reserve it. Public bathrooms are available, as are water fountains. The parking lot is more than sufficient for the park. The park is conveniently located next to the Long Gate shopping center and route 100, and bear route 29.

This playground is awesome for older kids 6+, but its always super crowded and its hard to see your kids, so it scares me a bit not knowing where they are. My oldest was attacked by an off leash dog here who ran to the playground and dragged her by her hair! The owner didnt even apologize. Ive been here four times and every time Im miserable with the crowd and lack of shade space available to eat.

There is an amazing playground at this park! The kids love it! It has rock climbing walls, all sorts of bridges, monkey bars, and lots of slides. There are beautiful views of the forest and ponds along the path, a pretty gazebo, and great sports fields/courts. For anyone interested, there are also about 10 pokemon stops for Pokemon Go!

No swings, much to my daughters disappointment.. but still super fun for the whole family! Sometimes it gets busy and theres pretty big kids playing tag, which gets kindof nerve racking sometimes when theres little kids everywhere. Glad for the separate structure for toddlers... that helps!

Its a great park, beautiful place and nice play equipment for kids. The poor rating is because one time I wore an American flag there once because I was cold and had one on hand, and the police were called and had to waste their time, distracting them from real issues

Typical outstanding Howard County parks and rec location/facilities. Baseball Fields used for soccer and other sports as well as the indoor field house. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends.

There is a huge playground here that is suitable for kids of all ages. The surface is a nice, soft rubber and there are slides, bridges, tunnels, and climbing structures of all different sizes.

Nice place for my kids to ruin and play. I like that the flooring is not just dirt or wood chips making it okay for my crawler to be on. Closes of parts needing repair.

Kids absolutely love it. It is well maintained and always clean. They have a separate section for younger kids. Also, a walking trail for adults. Simply awesome.

The playground is huge!!! I wish this existed when I was a kid. Usually a ton of kids are there. My daughter loves it. Tons of slides. But they dont have any swings.
