The fat guy that worked over the counter when you have to buy games, I think he very RACIAL and arrogant..Me and my friend was bowling the other night and we saw that on wednesday they have specials on bowling on the television screen. So after we finished bowling, we ask the guy what time he said all day..I ask him again, he said with an attitude "alllll DAYYYY" and dragged it out. So i said okay, wednesday came around, me and more of friends came out to bowl, to find out that they have a league from 5.30 to 9pm. WHen I ask the same guy he said he never told me that. I apologise to all my friends and we went home. Today after work, me and friend wanted to bowl so we reach there, he told my friend that we have to wait until 6pm to bowl. So i said okay we here already why not. They have like six available lanes, no one was playing on. So I ask him he said, I told your buddy already until 6pm and they have to clean the lane and then we could bowl and only have one game..NOW TELL ME THIS, ISNT THIS GUY DONT WANT US THERE ???? So we ask to speak with a manager and he was showing all sort of attitudes..Finally the manager came and she did not even listen to us and said she was right there when he told us and they have a league every night and walked away...So long I have live in Columbia and go so many bowling alley I never came across such racists. Why he have us waiting then and see us sitting there and not saying anything...BEWARE, people see you going there think you alll are racists !!!!

Called ahead once again to ensure we could bring the kids to bowl. The person I spoke with on the phone said there were no leagues (I asked specifically) & that there was open bowling (again, asked specifically). We arrive & guess what, there are leagues. Which means there are open lanes, in some instances two open lanes but none available. The leagues require at least one lane in between & dont want kids around. Apparently the poorly behaved children running through the league lanes arent an issue. The two young ladies staffing the front desk were exceptionally rude & unprofessional. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told to wait. 30 minutes later, still waiting. The young ladies were snickering & talking about us to other employees. Its a shame this is the only bowling venue in Columbia. Weve given them our business many times & always been disappointed in the customer service. I would strongly recommend driving to another Brunswick, they cant possibly all be this poorly run. ***Update: Snail to the rescue. Im almost convinced hes the only reason this place manages to stay in business. He was gracious, helpful & polite. Next time I call ahead Ill make sure hes working. Both the stars are for him.

Awful service - Paid and could not bowl. My group showed up with 20 people. They gave us only 2 lanes. The computer would not let us put all of our names on the computer. The man at the desk named Snail(It is on his name tag) said that he was overwhelmed by the number of people on the line and could not open another lane for us. Since I could not get my name on the score sheet I had no choice but to leave. I paid for two games and shoes but did not get to bowl at all. There was no manager or anyone else to communicate with. I will call them during the week but I do not plan to return unless they work fairly with me.

There was a line to get a lane even though we called ahead. It didnt take long but the only issue are how they charge for the lanes. You have to go back to the desk when you want to extend a game vs. being able to extend the game from the kiosk. Makes no sense. Other locations have done this for years so Im not sure why not here. Plus it should be by person not linked to the lane so if someone shifts lanes there is no differential. Food was fine but no refills since the kitchen was closed around 4pm. Given that the lanes are open til 10 thats a missed opportunity to sell a few more sodas etc...

Went to bowl with my girlfriend and her kid on 2/18/17. was told we shouldnt bowl because her kid was to young. I explained to the fat man in the red shirt that we had been there before. I asked for a ramp that kids use to bowl he lied and said they dont have one. And got vary rude when i told him i had been here before and i know hes wrong. then i later asked for a light ball from the guy. he said "we dont got any" i again told this guy i had been here before lol what a joke! this guys was vary rude will not be coming back to this place. The fat old rude guy behind the counter needs to be fired!!!

2016 г.Мало народу .спокойно.можно хорошо провести время.были с младшим сыном и невесткой.выходной провести само то место.подходит для семейного отдыха.в этом 2017 году мы привели 80 летнюю маму.покидали шары и очень хорошо отдохнули.Кстати пицца хдесь очень вкусная.Рекомендую это место.

I had a coupon to go to the bowling alley and so when we got there, leagues were in play but there were still several lanes open for general play. The guy at the counter, Chris, was very nice and helpful. Shoes are newer, velcro (not laces), snack area looked clean, the bowling alley and lanes were all clean and orderly. I didnt use the restrooms so I cannot account for those. Overall the facility was nice and I would definitely consider going back.

TERRIBLE customer service from the old fellow behind the counter named "Snail." I have bowled here several times when he is working and hes extremely rude every time. Also, the website needs to be updated to reflect the actual times the specials are available. The leauges last til 930pm every night with no lane availability, but most specials are advertised between 8pm and 9pm. Get it together Columbia Lanes!

This is not a fancy over the top bowling place. I love going to this bowling alley, the price is great and so is the staff! Its a clean environment that offers you many lanes to play and have a great time! Ive been to many other bowling places and their prices for bowling, food, and shoe rental are ridiculous! I love going here for a fun time!

Leagues Get No Respect- We never get fresh oil and let random families bowl on league lanes less than an hour before our session starts. The ball return is always faulty and there is gunk on the approach. Not to mention the customer service and blatant poor management. This place is a joke for serious bowlers.

The fat old guy behind the counter has NO customer service skills and should not be allowed to work another day of his life. He is a thief, an arrogant, and rude. He does not know how to deal with people whatsoever. I would make the drive to Laurel and go to the bowling lanes there!!

Really mean older guy works the counter . Tried to overcharge us, and then shut down the lane when we swapped out a guy who had to leave. Very bizarre and horrible customer service. Bowling is supposed to be fun, and hes never smiled.
