FREE ADMISSION 7-DAYS A WEEK MON.-SAT. 10-5 SUN.12-5 COME LEARN, REMEMBER AND COMMEMORATE BALTIMORE AND MARYLANDS ROLE IN THE CIVIL WAR DURING THE WARS SESQUICENTENNIAL(150th anniversary) At President Street Station: In Feb. 1861 Newly elected President Lincoln "snuck" through Baltimore and the Station in the middle of the night under "Threat" of assassination. In April 1861 was the Starting point of the Pratt St. Riot the "First Blood shed of the Civil War" And is On the National Underground Railroad Network/Trail:Frederick Douglass,Henry "Box" Brown and the body of abolitionist John Brown. All passed through the train Station.
