I visit the Museum, me and my cousin after a Family Reunion in Alanta back in 2014. I didnt even know the museum exist. We really enjoyed the history you learn about the "GREATEST BOXER OF ALL TIMES." We arrived 2 hrs before closing, so we didnt get to see everything. The staff was very nice, and I was very happy to know that he had a book that we can sign. Me, and my cousin left Our mark in that book. Hope he knows hes loved by many. My intention is to return soon to complete my tour. On October 24th 2015 I revisited the museum with two of my best friends. We had a wonderful time, as I had mention to my friends that we must visit the Ali Center. We enjoyed every minute of our visit from the time we entered the building to the time we left. The center provides a lot of history regarding the Man, and much more. We also enjoyed the pleasant surrounding of the employees working at the museum. One person in particular is Sheila M, she was working at the Information Desk next to the pamphlets of events stand. I did not know if I could say her full last name. But she was very helpful with answering questions we had regarding the center, and other events surrounding the Louisville Kentucky area. Thank You Sheila very much for being so Kind, we loved your beautiful spirit. You and the Ali center both made our day!!!!

My husband is a life long admirer of Muhammad Ali. It has been a goal to visit the Center. We planned a group trip to Louisville and booked rooms at the Galt House for the specific reason of visiting this place. We finally got checked in a little before 2:00 on this past Sat. and walked over to the museum. We were met at the door by someone that said they closed early that day for the special Bruno Mars event much later that day. Needless to say, I was very upset that I never saw anything online that you were closing early. We live almost three hours away and a trip like this is not easy to plan. We could not come back the next day. I realize the event was for charity but I am very disappointed because we had no knowledge that our visit would be ruined this way.

A must visit in Louisville!!! They have their own parking garage;you can expect to pay about 4 to 5 dollars by cash or card as you exit. Admission was $12 for adults; discounts for military, senoirs and students with IDs. Mild dress code and large purses are subject to inspection. Strict photography limitations. Otherwise beautifully designed and thoughtfully displayed. A few art exhibits on one floor. Plenty of comfortable seating available throughout. Several videos playing and a few interactive boxing activities on fifth floor; elevator or escalate. Nice view of the Ohio river. I believe the top floor is available for venues. Spent about 3 hours and still didnt see everything.

What an incredible tribute to the last truly boxing "Champion of the World"! This museum uncovers and discovers the early life of the Muhammad Ali, traces his rise through Golden Gloves and the Olympics to his championship wins, and covers his life through the efforts to imprison him wrongly and his classic three-fight rivalry with Joe Frazier. There are places where people of all ages can actually enter a ring, beat a punching bag, and practice their jabs. There are seats available to review in full some of the Champs greatest matches! It is multifarious engagement on learning about the life of an American and World Champion, of boxing and of life character.

The Ali Center is a great benefit to Louisville. The facility is a unique and artistic representation of his life, and adds a welcome addition to the skyline. The venue is excellent for hosting events, as are the staff. It is a particularly powerful place which has already become a part of history several times in its short lifespan, including being ground-zero for memorials and tributes after Alis death, and as the location of an ad hoc solidarity rally after the proclamation of a unilateral Muslim immigration ban by the Drumpf administration. This place represents--and is-- a significant part of the cultural heritage of this diverse and vibrant city.

I was so excited to go here. Hugely dissapointed. I was expecting a lot more. On the walls that had sound bites that were too loud you couldnt hear because right next to you it was a different one. They should have had some headphones so its not over powering. Granted, Ali just passed away this year, I sure hope they improve it over the next few years. But it literally looks like they through up a bunch of clutter on the walls and said its a museum for Ali

Interesting place. Not only biography and artifacts. You can watch famous fights and have unique opportunity to step into the ring, and get some video lesson from the Champion’s daughter – Leyla Ali Amariah. For me, the most touching and astonishing thing was a picture painted by Ali in 2010. He donated it to a charity auction to raise funds for the United Nations World Food Programme. First and foremost RIP Ali and I loved my experience visiting his center as it really cemented my fan hood of this man in and outside of the ring. This place is so rich with Alis legacy and history of his time in general that I would honestly say it should be a must for your bucket list. This is truly a gem of history boxing or otherwise and should be part of any trip for this part of the country.

A lovely museum. Unfortunately my work called and I needed to print off a paper to sign for work. Should be simple, print the page or help me find a kinkos or any friendly tourist destination. The staff had no idea where I could access one, and wouldnt help out, "I dont have a printer". A decent museum, but not a good tourist destination or service environment.

5 floors of great interactive exhibitions. Boxing area is fun for the kids. Great civil rights history too. Everything is in multiple languages which is great, and nothing was broken. Lots of fun hands on art stations were nice and the theater and art gallery was great. Stunning views and nice outside courtyard.
