This park is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Lavista and Chamblee Tucker Rd. Youd never know it was there. There are 3 parking areas at the entrance off Livesy Rd. The upper area is where I usually park because you can easily enter the trails right out of your vehicle. At first its difficult to navigate but if you want a good 45 minute hike the longest route would be to stay on the red trail and that would take you around the lake and you can reconnect to the trail after passing the playground. I suggest hiking boots for this trail if you want to feel secured. Its lovely and theres a great deal of change of scenery in only 45 minutes. Awesome.

I like to visit Henderson Park, I just wish they took better care of it. The fields are nice and lake is lovely (and apparently has fish in it), but it isnt maintained properly, so it can also be dirty and difficult to get around. The map inside the park has been removed, and youll often find trash strewn about. A shame.

Great local park. Trails always kept nicely cut. Some roots when walking but not too bad. Pretty view around lake and waterfall. Great place for kids. Nice playground, deck overlooking lake, and large pavilion. Great park for your dog to roam free too.

Amazing atmosphere! The playground isnt very special, but its a great area for families to come enjoy some fresh air and spend time together. The lake is beautiful and I loved the trails surrounding it- come for walks, enjoying nature, and great photos

Its not as big as i thiught it would be ,also only had things for small children to play on. There is a lake but I dont know if there are any fish. I also didnt like the fact that I had to go through a residential neighborhood to get to the park.

Nice trails and a very pretty lake. I took my drone here and got some great shots of the ducks and small waterfall and lake. The playground is in good condition and the trails are too. Its not the easiest to find but totally worth it.

The nature trail is just the best, each season of the year Ill see difent flowers, sounds , wildlife, even wild berries which I eat... I love it! No need to go to the north Georgia mountains to enjoy similar experiences...

Excellent park, quiet place for a walk, nice little lake and playground for the kids. Soccer fields. Park is dog friendly. Great wooded trails a a secluded waterfall on the far side of the lake in the woods.

This is a beautiful park! The walking trails were calling me but I was unprepared! Bring some bread for the geese and ducks! The playground is nothing fancy, but the atmosphere is amazing! So peaceful.

Its a very large woods surrounded by urban area. You can jog for 45 minutes on wooded trails and not pass the same spot twice. It has a waterfall that is just a trickle normally but its still beautiful.

Wonderful park and larger then I thought. They keep it very clean and the grass is always cut nice. The only thing I didnt care for is the amount of people that let their dogs run lose without a leash.

One of my favorite local parks! There are well maintained trails through hardwoods and around a small lake. The upper section of the park has a community garden and several baseball and soccer fields.

Enjoyed the unpaved walking trails that are spider-webbed throughout the park. A good bit of elevation change. The trails are not marked well, but it would be difficult to get yourself lost.
