The park is very beautiful, amazing landscape, with many shaded areas so you can take a break from the Sun, but I am given this park a 4 out of 5 star rating because (1) I feel that it could be better maintained. People were dropping their trash on the ground instead of disposing it in the many trash cans surrounding the park. The (2nd) reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because a homeless guy kept walking around asking people for change. I have nothing against the homeless, and you can find them in every park of every big city, but the guy was making me and many others feel uncomfortable.. *The park is undergoing construction. Its going to be even better when completed. You can see the 2020 Vision of what it will look like on their website.* *Bring your own food and cooler if you want to save money $$$ on food. There are food trucks and vendors nearby, but they are not cheap. I would suggest that you bring your own food and cooler and eat at either one of the benches, the steps by the Olympic Rings, one of many picnic tables or bring a big blanket and have a picnic right on the grass of the big open field.** *Free wireless Internet access is available in and around the park’s Visitor Center located next to the Olympic Rings. Restrooms are also located at the Visitor Center.* *The closest and safest parking we found was at LAZ Parking. Its located right across the street from the park. The cost to park here is $10 for the day.* *The park is located Downtown Atlanta in the heart of it all. Its surrounded by Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, CNN, Skyview Atlanta, and Philips Arena.* *Stroller friendly.* *Watch out for the sprinklers at night that water the lawn and flowers* *FREE live music every Tuesday-Thursday from 12PM-1PM* *Be sure to check the parks website to make sure that the Olympic Rings Fountain will be on that day.* *best time to visit is during the evening. When it gets dark the lights all come on making the park and surroundings even more beautiful.** *Now to my kids favorite part of the park. The Olympic Rings. Not only is it one of the most sophisticated fountains in the world, the Fountain of Rings is also the world’s largest interactive fountain to incorporate the Olympic Rings symbol. It’s free to view the Fountain of Rings show, which plays four times a day, 365 days a year, at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Kids of all ages can enjoy getting wet here.* Bring your kids swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and a change of clothes. They can change their clothes in the restroom.* My only regret was that I wish I had of bought new lens for my DSLR camera before visiting this park because my old one wont function right. There was so much beauty that I could not capture because phone does not take good photos.

Centennial Olympic Park is the epicenter of great Atlanta tourist attractions and well worth a visit. If you’re vacationing in Atlanta there’s a good chance you’ll end up here, just because it houses some of the best attractions that Atlanta has to offer. It’s a great park that connects many different sites you’ll want to visit. The park itself is very open and adorned with multiple fountains and waterfalls. You’ll find yourself walking the many paths to reach all the major destinations. Some of the things that the Centennial Olympic Park connects together all within walking distance are: The Aquarium, The Coca-Cola Experience, Phillips Arena, CNN Center, Skyview Atlanta, and many more. In the winter, we’ve seen skating rinks setup and the area decorated very nicely for the holidays. Now, we’ve only walked the park during the day and have always felt safe. We haven’t seen seedy elements within the park any of the times we’ve gone. However, just like any city, I would say you’d have to be vigilant when walking the area at night. The park also connects some great hotels. I would highly recommend staying in one of the hotels in the area so you can walk to most any attraction you want and can leave the car in valet for a few days. When visiting Atlanta, make sure you take the time to look around Centennial Olympic Park and see the great landscaping and remnants of the Olympics.

Nice park. Nice atmosphere for the most part. During the earlier part of therapy morning and day was least enjoyable. My group of 12 wanted to have a meeting under one of the pavilions with one of Atlantas top fitness blogger. There was no available space..not because wasnt any room, but because there were solo many homeless people sleeping there. Atlanta is not at fault about this situation, but it is responsible. This is a popular tourist area. This did not shed a positive light in the city in my eyes..The mayor and city council should be ashamed to allow this. I dont mean harass and punish those in need, I mean provide them with a place to go. During the afternoon hours around 1pm, the park became more enjoyable as the homeless began to move around and event started, and more people were out enjoying the park and having picnics

With over 3 million visitors per year I must say that Centennial Olympic Park is a cool place for tourists and residents to visit. This park is complete with eateries, playgrounds and plenty of greenery. There is also an Olympic rings show that encompasses shooting fountains, bright lights, orchestral music and a spoken narrative. In the summer and throughout the year there are different events such as concerts, ice skating and fairs. Located within a short walking distance to the CNN Center and Phillips Arena there is plenty to be gained from visiting. I recently took my daughter and two of her friends to Centennial this summer. They had an amazing time despite the playgrounds being closed for an upcoming concert. Street parking can be challenging at times but all in all this is a must visit locale anytime of the year.

Above The Air is a great place for the kids to release their energy! The trampoline monitors help the parents relax too in knowing their children are being watched without the parents having to "chase" behind them to keep up with them. Wi-Fi, arcade, food, birthday party options. What I loved most is how it appears this company takes care of their employees. The establishment actually stayed closed during inclement weather we experienced during spring break. I had planned to take my kids for some indoor fun b/c of the rain, but it got so bad, they put safety first! We were a little disappointed but definitely understood! We back the next day amd had a blast! Great, affordable neighborhood fun!

My wife and I always enjoy the park on Labor Day weekend, which is kept and managed beautifully, except for the mens restroom, which for years and years is always absolutely filthy to the point of being ghastly. The floor is always wet with urine, and the restroom smells horrible like it has never, ever been cleaned or sanitized. It gets a lot of use of course, including use by homeless people. Which means that somebody ought to mop, sanitize, and deodorize it at least hourly on high volume periods like labor day. Especially if little kids go in there to change in and out of their bathing suits for the fountain.
