Horrible horrible horrible horrible service their staff is completely incompetent more than five people have contacted us regarding our wedding event with the same questions which I have already given him an answer to I am extremely extremely nervous on how our wedding is going to be when the day comes they also told us that I can bring a special drink for our toast so I decided to spend over $1000 for our special toasting beverage which now I have been denied to bring so now I have to spend additional money to buy something else to use as favors as that was supposed to be used as a wedding favor as well!!! They take forever to reply to emails! Very very unprofessional in every single way which you can think of! A lot of people think if you rent a cheap event hall you get cheap service well we decided to go with something more expensive well needless to say more expensive doesnt always turn out to be the best because these people pricey but their service really sucks! If I could give them zero stars I would!

Watched the Wichita Symphony Orchestra here and it was great!!! They also used to have an exhibition here called the Lawn, Flower, and Garden show that took up 3 sections of the building, but now rent only one section of the building and renamed it to the Outdoor Living and Landscaping Show because they didnt have the budget to rent all three sections of the building out. Century II is also hosts the Catholic Family Conference which is also hosted in one section of the building here instead of all three sections because of budget cuts, with people traveling from all over the Midwest to see vendors there. Overall, along with Intrust Bank Arena and the Cotillion which have wilder events, its one of the three Wichita event centers.

What all can I say about this wonderful venue? If youre looking for a place to see a show, Century II is it! From traveling Broadway casts to the summer Music Theatre of Wichita productions, you cannot go wrong. I love attending shows, events, concerts, and sales here any time I get a chance. The venue hosts a wide variety of events and each and every one Ive attended has run smoothly. Ive even had the pleasure of working in the facility and seen the "backstage" experience and must continue my wonderful review. I top notch facility with great workers and wonderful events. Excellence all the way around!

My daughter paid 30.00 for prom this last weekend. She came home very disappointed. First of all the room was too big for the 600+ guest. It made the students feel uncomfortable dancing. The thing that upset me the most was the fact they were told they had to be quiet for the first hour and a half because they had a symphony booked the same night. That left them with just an hour where they could have fun. These kids spent a lot of money on prom to have to "be quiet" for quite a long time. Very disappointed!

MTW effectively provides the highest theatrical value to patrons and our community! Intrinsic importance to Central Kansas can never be overstated. Wayne and staff have perfected strategic genius in blending of national and local talent in both production and performance, while concurrently fostering the highest level of local artistic traditions and culture. Wichita could not be what it is without MTW! They deserve and need our unswerving support.

Still think the theatre looks very nice. Ive read the reasons why the building is being evaluated for remodeling or destruction and I agree that it makes sense - but this building has been very well-maintained given its age. I was surprised to hear that it is almost 50 years old. I support whatever decision the city reaches, as long as the result is a continued support for Music Theatre Wichita, and national touring shows.

Music Theater of Wichita is one of the best things going. Each summer consists of five full scale musical stage productions with full orchestra and the finest talent in the nation. Symphony season follows and is equally impressive. Visual art in the lobby changes monthly. The theater seating is comfortable and the concession and bar are well stocked and have a terrific staff.

Century II is having dinner really great shows lately. Ive been more times in the last couple months than in the last 20 years. Mythbusters! Book of Mormon! Hope more keep coming. They serve alcohol too at a lot of shows apparently. There is a small coffee and snack bar now too.

Every March for the last 30 years or so, Wichita has had a wonderful garden show here. The perfect facilty to host such an event. Century II hosts many wonderful events such as car shows, home shows, operas, the Asian festival, music theater, ballet and many more.

Awesome convention but there was this one young male security staff member who was not a good fit for the position. Seeming to be on steroids perhaps on account of the snap reaction to raise his voice and arms in a threatening manner.

A nice performance for a small town show. The rows in the auditorium are rather long and could use a center aisle to help you get to your seat with ease. The temperature is wonderful and the seats softly cushioned with ample space.

For the age or is an amazing venue, wish they would do some more updates, especially with the backstage assets. Really wish it could just be updated and maybe expanded to accommodate larger events. The style and feel is awesome!

CII is easy to find. Easy to navigate. Its old and definitely dated. The sound systems in some/all of the theaters could be updated. Some soundproofing could help. We attend many events here and have few complaints.

If you want to drink anything then you will have to buy a special drink cup. Kinda made things expensive. But, you can take it home and wash it then bring it back next time if you remember to bring it.

Wichita Music Theater is a hidden gem for the greater Wichita area. The facilities are perfect for Wichita Music Theater and comfortable for the viewers. Highly recommended!

Tickets are always overpriced for some terrible seats. You can get some front row balcony seats cheaper on Broadway then you can get back row balcony seats at Century II.

Music theater of Wichita is awesome. Probably be a season ticket holder for a long time. Cant beat the acoustics in the theater.
